Very sadly after yesterday’s search with scent dogs didn’t lead to finding Dixie. I do think that posters need to be put up to bring greater awareness of missing Dixie. Posters put up on telegraph poles, entrances to the woods where she originally went missing from. Put a couple of posters into Royal Mail post boxes as posties take these back with them and display in their sorting offices for others as they may spot her out and about. Ask florists and estate agents to display a poster or take with them. I do think that you need to register her as lost with the local dog Warden and I believe you are just about on the border of another Warden in addition. Check with the Highways Agency very regularly just in case she’s been a victim of an RTA and has been picked up. If chipped speak to the chip company and make them aware she is missing just in case this hasn’t already been done. From a poster point of view the Doglost poster can be printed off by anyone and can be reproduced by Staples as an example and put into the cheaply produced polypockets and be displayed. Hope this advice leads to finding Dixie as I do think time is now of the essence. Last edited: 2017-11-11 08:32:44 by ClaireC
