An incredible 24hrs. The female lurcher confirmed safe in vet care where she will receive the best treatment. Swindon Dog Warden will ensure her bright future. Thanks to the man that located the dog on the ridgeway and to the good, good people who turned out to search. Thanks Westie213 great job.

Following suspicious rural activity on the Ridgeway Sandy coloured lurcher, saluki ears, short haired wearing brightly coloured collar seen tied abandoned at roadside with visible broken right leg. Lurcher seen to 'freak' and brake free running into fields towards direction of the clump of trees at Liddington Hill. Witnesses/Police unable to trace dog at this time. Local community have been brilliant searching, sharing word.
