Previous owner may have died and the family or whoever was clearing the house left her in this situation. Seems to have worked for the best tho! Lucky Porridge

Ar!!! well done the person for taking her on and giving her a new home. It may have been that who ever owned you before loved you but for what ever reason could not keep you if you was left with food and also well groomed someone loved you, It may not have been the best way to have got you a new home but it is better then just throwing you out on the streets. Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
