News just in that Jo Good and Anna Webb, the Barking blondes from BBC Radio London will be dedicating their Barking Hour show on Thursday 15th Feb in loving memory of Rosie - 3 months to the day that she went missing. What a lovely thoughtful thing for them to suggest. I've let Marnie know, she was very touched. Please tune in if you can, it's 94.9FM and the Barking hour is at 3pm x

Hi Marnie, I have a rescue fox terrier, and have been following your post since November every day hoping that your dear little Rosie would come back to you. I am sitting at my desk in tears this morning, as I saw your heart breaking update, especially as she was so close to you and on her way back to you. I am truly sorry, she or you did not deserve for this to end this way, and please take some solace in that you rescued her and gave her three years of joy, as depicted in the wonderful pictures you have of her for lasting memories. R.I.P dear sweet Rosie xxxx

Can't believe February is here and still no sign of Rosie. No confirmed sightings for a month now. I am still sharing her image on twitter and instagram. She's on most facebook pages that have people that might see her. Elizabeth Max are you keeping an eye out on gumtree every day? I don't want to duplicate anything that others are doing. Need to consider the possibility now that Rosie may have been taken in by someone, possibly just well meaning thinking she was stray. Maybe her collar came off. Maybe her chip has not read properly. Please keep sharing people, we need to get this lovely girl home to Marnie.Last edited: 2018-02-01 08:26:14 by .

I've tweeted a new photo today of Marnie and Rosie - please share or do your own posts with this one [@thedogfinder on Twitter]. It's the first photo we've really shared of them together and it may just tug at the heart strings. If someone has Rosie maybe they will realise she is very much loved and missed. Should also reach some new people today. National Rail just retweeted to their 1 million+ followers. Someone somewhere knows where she is. Please all keep sharing on social media. Thank you everyoneLast edited: 2018-01-24 13:25:10 by .

I'm still tweeting away, and sharing Rosie on instagram and facebook too. Hoping for a new sighting or fresh info of her wherabouts. Paws firmly crossed here
.
Managed to get an article in The Metro after my tweet pleading them got over 100,000 impressions. Olly Murs tweeted it to his 7 million followers just as the article was being penned! Fantastic timing. You canview the article here, DogLost, of course, get a good mention! and the owner is so grateful for all the help and messages of support she has got so far - she said this is what is keeping her going. Come on Rosie's Army, she is out ther somewhere! alwasy use the #findrosie in your social media posts - http://metro.co.uk/2018/01/16/findrosie-can-help-find-fox-terrier-missing-two-months-7233768/
Elizabeth Max
As of this evening no sign of Rosie on Gumtree or Pets4Homes. I will keep checking daily.
.
Also sharing daily on Twitter and keeping facebook posts updated too. Owner posted a new photo last week which shows Rosie close shaved - if she has been taken by someone [this can't be ruled out at present] they may do this to disguise her. She also suggested that if this has happened, they may also put a coat on her to disguise markings. Please do keep sharing and look out on all selling sites like Gumtree too. Forward any possible photos of dogs for sale to the owner, so that she can eliminate them herself. Thank you everyone for keeping Rosie in the forefront of everyone's minds. It's almost 9 weeks now. #findrosie

Still no news on Rosie, someone somewhere knows something, please keep sharing, keep asking questions and keep trying to get her home. Thank you.

I'm still sharing Rosie on all social media, please everyone carry on sharing her poster. She coudl be anywhere at all now and we need everyone to keep their eyes and ears open, across the UK. Please help by continuing to share the info. If you are local, please look carefully in your own garden and any sheds / outbuildings in case Rosie has been taking shelter there - encourage friends and neighbours to do the same. It's very cold out there and she could be lying low, scavenging for food at night. We must find her so that she can be reunited with Marnie x

Jo Good will be mentioning the search for LOST DOG Rosie on BBC Radio London this morning - Tune in to 94.9FM for Jo Good's Beakfast Show 7-10am - Rosie has been missing from her house boat home in Kingsland Basin, Hackney N1 since 15 November - her owner, Marnie Collins is desperate to be reunited with her best friend in time for Christmas - can you help?
.
Still sharing Rosie everywhere on a daily basis - today I have asked London's Mayor, TFL [5 twitter accounts] and London Overground for Retweets. Anyone travelling around on buses and trains might see her. Also contacted 40+ homeless charities in London asking all their staff to look out for any homeless people who might be snuggled up with a new dog - lovely Rosie. It's a long shot but anything is possible and somehow we now need to reach new sets of eyes today, people who may not already have heard of Rosie and Marnie. Difficult to believe that there is anyone that doesn't know about her but we must cover all bases. Also, let's imagine that maybe, just maybe, someone has taken her in, a kindly soul who has no idea that she belongs to someone that desperately wants her back. If that person has visitors over the Christmas period, we need to have reached them so that they can gently ask questions. Please all keep sharing the DogLost poster in new places. It's the best we can do to help Marnie today. Rosie's Army are alive and kicking. We need her home.Last edited: 2017-12-22 08:44:02 by .

Message from owner:

Tonight guys, Thursday, between 6-8pm, can everyone tweet, FB, instagram or any other social media for me and Rosie please. Please include Rosie's poster, attached and #findrosie to make a huge impact and get someone who knows where Rosie is. Thank you xxx" A bit of time left.

We need sightings and news of Rosie.
Lex
I'm going to share on Instagram tonight. Am continuing to share on Twitter. I can see in the comments that they do not want any more people to search on foot. Please let me know if this changes, as I have a few days off before the 2nd Jan and would be keen to help. I can be found on twitter @gandalfinspace - pls DM me if you need any help. Hope she's found safe and sound soon x
.
I'm still sharing Rosie across Facebook, Twitter and instagram. No suggestion that she has been stolen, but the posts are going across the UK in case she may have wandered further afield. Ive joined all the groups I could think of that might be relevant or have willing helpers. Please do the same if you can. No sightings since 2md Dec. Important to keep her image and info circulating to make sure this is fresh in people's minds no matter where they are in the UK. Please, everyone, if you are on social media, do keep sharing. POaters are still going up but seems some are being taken down by the council, possibly wrongly thinking she has been found by now. Owner said yesterday that the best thing people can do to help right now is to keep sharing. Just one post might make the difference today. Lots of great celeb tweets lately - Emma Sammas, Nigella Lawson last night - the lady below on the feed here, Cuban Dancer36 is doing an amazing job. Literally millions of people know about Rosie - we just need one piece of information to come forward now. Does anyone use snapchat or any other social media platforms that coudl be used too - maybe we could reach some new people. Lots of people suggesting petdetectives and DroneSAR and tracker dogs but we need that all important sighting first - Help if you can!Last edited: 2017-12-19 08:38:46 by .

Thank you Freddie 12. Anybody wanting to search please only drive or cycle. We do not need foot Searchers at this present time. We have few different areas where scent and food have been left for Rosie to find. To give her best possible chance we wish to keep areas free of unusual scents. When driving if you see Rosie please do not approach her or call her. Just call owner. There are several extremely dangerous roads and a railway,we have to make sure Rosie stays safe. We have no further new confirmed sightings of Rosie since Saturday but have a few leads to follow. Rosie can be anywhere on a route between Whitecross Street and kingsland road.Remember Rosie is looking dirtier and more unkempt than her poster. Please keep tweeting, sharing and getting word out about Rosie. Please do not share any sightings etc on Facebook or any social media page. Give direct to Owner. .x

We will be chasing few leads today. As always happens with posters info comes in which has to all be checked, most times it is not dog in question but proves posters are working. Plotted sightings on map has given us a bit of Rosie’s route taken previously. .we will be out later looking in areas Rosie is familiar with. Which actually is a very big area. Fingers xd for positive news today. Poor Rosie is trying so hard to find her Owner but they keep missing each other. Xx

I saw on twitter that @billiechoclab has searched around London Fields/Canal/ Whiston/ Haggerston area today - no sightings and read a tweet that @pcsharonpage from Muswell Hill Ward has travelled on her day off work to help in the search today. She's tweeted to say she is in Haggerston PArk handing out leaflets - lovely that lots of people are aware and are keeping their eyes open for Rosie. Yes tons of people do know about Rosie but area is highly populated. A lot of people there will not be interested in reporting a dog.,. The area is very big as well and leads into city so people are rushing around all the time. On positive side. Tons of dog walkers, boaters and dog friendly people are looking for her. There are so many places she could be hiding it just impossible to know where she is right now. She obviously has a number of safe hides holes where she goes too. We just need a current sighting so we know what area she is in now. That sighting will come., we just have to wait for it. Everything possible is being done to find sweet Rosie,.x
.
Yes I understand completely. Goodness. Hope she stays close to home and will be spotted soon thanks to the posters and word of mouth you are getting out there. There can't be many people in that area that would not know who she was if they saw her now. I'll carry on tweeting and insta etc and am still badgering the local press and eve std too - Praying for her safe return today.
Shelagh
Drone can be used in fields and parks but at moment all sightings of Rosie have been residential. Rosie’s owner has been in contact with a tracker dog I believe. More posters went up yesterday so hope for another sighting soon.
Justine
Could scent dogs be used? I know in the area where we live they are often used but we are rural so not sure how effective in an urban area?
.
Yes, I thought so. But Michelle from Dogs on The Streets DOTS said it's ok if it's over a park or field or something. I have no idea but she seemed to think ok. I've been in touch with the guy on a previous search and he knew his stuff / rules regulations etcLast edited: 2017-12-05 07:07:12 by .
Shelagh
You can’t fly drone there. It is inner city, residential
.
Hi Shelagh, someone was asking again about using a drone, I wasn't sure if it's allowed in the area - DOTS [Michelle, who I know you know] were saying they could ask the guy they know. I wonder if you think this would be a good idea at this point? I just said to Michelle that it would all be co-ordinated through you as I know you know each other, hope that's ok. What about Jenny & Tiga the K9 tracker, are they available? Not wanting to tread on any toes or get in the way. I'm not getting much joy with the papers yet. Anyone got any good contacts? Tried individual journos as well as the main editorial contacts etc. Tweeted, emailed etc. Is there anything else I can do to help from a distance? I saw the sighting mentioned below but owner hasn't said anything about this one today, so guess unconfirmed at mo?Last edited: 2017-12-04 16:14:56 by .

I've tweeted the latest sighting to all I can think of, checked Rosie in at London Fields, Regents Canal and Broadway Market on Facebook and I've re-done my instagram posts from this morning, tagging the locations. It means her face comes up if anyone else tags themselves in there. I've direct messaged sellers and shops around the market. In every post I am stressing not to chase or call her and to telephone Marnie straight away. I'm literally praying now for some good news. Please God

Rosie last seen 4pm yesterday at the junction of Kingsland Road and Nuttall Street! Please keep up the good work and don’t forget to call Marnie a call as soon as you see anything- Rosie will most likely run away if you approach her.
Shelagh
I was out last night checking area we think Rosie was frequenting. Spent good 4 hours going backwards and forwards but sadly no sign of little miss Rosie. The cemetery has been checked by owners today, but dogs are clever at hiding. There was a sighting yesterday but it is unconfirmed at moment,as owner is trying to contact informer for more concrete information. Posters are being repositioned for maximum effect .. some problem with owners log in for Doglost this morning.
.
Plea on social media from owner - Really important to stress to any members of the public not to try and catch Rosie, she will be very frightened and may run away. Search gently and ring owner if you see her. She has been out looking all night on Friday and was totally exhausted poor thing. Been some amazing tweets from: Sue Perkins [1 million followers!], Nicholas Soames, Kate Fallon, Kate Spicer ... I'm in touch with a reporter from Hackney Gazette trying to get a feature. Loving Dalston have been tweeting and will carry on. I've tweeted all the local MPS teams again this morning to remind bobbies on the beat to keep an eye out. Think I saw a tweet from owner saying 3 sightings yesterday [Sat] but that might be the ones from Friday. She said they are concentrating on Bunhill Row area / Bunhill Fields which is a burial ground. I imagine that if they know she is in there then it would need to be a very carefully managed search between owner and local doglost helpers who will have the expertise to coax her out gently. Wish I was closer! Good luck and paws crossed as always xLast edited: 2017-12-03 19:05:24 by .

Ron and I have been out all evening searching for Rosie. We checked all of route we think she is taking and checked properly all bushes in parks using our new thermal imaging camera. There are a lot of noisy people about tonight and I feel she would not appear with so much activity. I will go out again tomorrow at a later time.
Jane
...EVERYONE is waiting for good news, you're closing in on her..xx

Have posted on facebook and "checked in" with her poster at the places she has been nearby to: The BArbican / Whitecross Street Market / St Luke's and Ironmonger Row Baths. Maybe show posters to market traders in white cross street. Also do they have a cleansing team for when market shuts. Try get a poster to them. Concentrate on areas we discussed yesterday, church, park etc. . You’re doing fantastic with posters, searches etc,and your closing in on her now. Take her squeaky toy and ball when you chilling in park.
Marnie
Been in the area all night. Just by Finsbury leisure centre. Drove all over 6-7am, spoke to morning workers, no sightings yet by me. Will cycle back at about 9am and poster and look till 10am. Then have to work for a bit. But will be back there about 1:30pm. I've tweeted, fb, and instagram on my accounts. Thank you guys, you are amazing, Shelagh don't know what I would have done without you yesterday morning in tears x

Good idea, Shelagh. I've contacted their editorial and press office to see if they will consider running the story. I'm speaking to the DOTS founder this afternoon and will check whether she has been in the area lately too.
Shelagh
Could you try big issue. Freddie12. I know d.o.t.s art looking but they don’t often do a station that way. There are lots of homeless with dogs around that way and most have my card although obviously not all. They are out all the time and many have dogs. Not all would see big issue I realise but word tends to spread pretty quickly in homeless community
.
I don't know the area that well, but have contacted these papers [they may just do an online story but anything will help as you say]:
Islington Tribune, Hackney GAzette, Hackney Post, Hackney Today, Loving Dalston, Islington Gazette, HAckney Citizen, Hackney Hive, Camden New Journal [they cover all areas] and lastly Evening Standard because you just never know, they might do it.
Are there any others that people know of that I have missed out? Please post here and I will do my best. Hoping to reach someone this way who may not be on social media and has not seen a poster. Difficult to believe that is possible I know! Paws crossed x

Thanks Freddie12 keep sharing that is really helpful.

Would owner like me to try and get some coverage in the local press, in print and online? Have had success with this kind of thing in the past. I know a journo was in touch but haven't seen anything printed yet. I did tweet them all but don't think that has worked as yet. happy to do this but don't want to tread on anyone's toes. Meanwhile I'll keep sharing on Twitter / FB and Insta as much as poss. Last edited: 2017-12-08 07:34:44 by .

Emailed dog wardens in islington, newham and tower hamlets to check Rosie not there with a photo and poster and microchip no. Will follow with a phone call in the morning.
Postered all on Goswell Rd junction area of sighting this afternoon, and route me and Rosie used to walk home from there. Thank you everyone below for all the advice and practical info.
Islington dog warden is impossible to get on the phone. Very frustrating!

Marnie, It's always a good idea to keep checking with the dog warden and adjoining ones too, sometimes the microchip does not read from a quick scan and not everyone knows what a Fox Terrier looks like. So hopefully, you have followed up, don't be afraid to make a nuisance of yourself.

A week old sighting is still a sighting and will link in with the new one.

Good luck.

I have reshared with DL FB Page, Twitter & Public. I hope that Rosie is safely back at home soon.X

I did all when she first went missing. I'll do a follow up.

Sighting of a lost fox terrier last Wednesday 9am at the north east corner of goswell road and old street.
Shelagh
Get a poster to Islington dog warden and city vets. You can email it.You could do newham wardens as well.

We had a drive around there this evening a few times and back up to kings land basin.im afraid we never saw Rosie tonight. Will have another look tomorrow
Marnie
Siting at princess of Wales pub proved another dog once cctv viewed. Siting near the marshes sports centre near the river alongside the car park their could still be a possibility. Food and smelliest left their tonight. I will return at dawn and poster up that area. I still need to chase the old street possible siting a bit more. Rosie not seen today by me.

I've put some posts on other E5 facebook groups - a Park Run and a Running Group and I did a fresh post on DOTS too
.
I've just done a fresh load of tweets to people in E5, HAckney MArshes and River LEa. I've done some facebook posts, checking it=n at a few places to try and spread the word to people who may not have seen posters or heard about her already. I'm joining some E5 facebook groups to post there. I'm going to post on instagram in a minute too. I know there are a couple of posts on insta already but thought a few more wont hurt. I'll get my thinking cap on to see if there is anything else I can think of. the facebook page is a good idea, but I know how much admin these things take up and impt messages may not reach the owner if she is out searching. I'll do anything I can to help you get her home. SO glad there have now been sightings, it's a great sign.Last edited: 2017-11-28 16:57:04 by .

DOTS London now aware and suggest to find out about CCTV - good idea.

DOTS are Dogs on the Street and they are volunteers who do a fantastic job helping homeless people care for their dogs.

Possible sighting - owner had a call saying they'd seen a dog like Rosie on her own looking scared near Old Street, East London, could everyone look out please in that area? Please help if you can.
DogLostBobble - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset & East Sussex
Thanks Freddie12, I'm tweeting her frequently as well, poor owner seems frantic and so helpful what you are doing.
.
I've tweeted Haggerton Radio and asked them to shout out on air, tweeted all the local papers to see if they'll cover the story, and done about 50 tweets to Haggerston local businesses and people and all the local MPS police teams to ask them to keep an eye out for her when they are on the beat . Hopefully might reach someone who hasn't already heard. Have also RT'd any tweets that have been done already. hope this is helpful! and hope she will be foudnsoon x Last edited: 2017-12-08 07:33:04 by .

I'm doing a few tweets this morning, hope I'm not duplicating what you have already tried. Also notified DOTS - Dogs on The Streets as they scan all dogs that are being cared for by homeless people and they cross reference on here. Just a small chance someone may be caring for her without realising her owner is frantically searching for her. I've also checked in on a few facebook locations locally with this poster and owners phone number. Anyone that also checks into those places will noe be aware and know to look out for Rosie. xLast edited: 2017-12-08 07:32:40 by .
