Thank you so much for sharing. I so wish it was, but not Hovis. What a gorgeous girl who has obviously had a really bad time, so relieved she is in a safe place now. Hopefully if she is microchipped, someone is going to be over the moon to be reunited with this lovely lady.

Looking for information on this poor soul, my son found her tonight, she is petrified and extremely malnourished, she is in a safe place now and will be taken to vets in the morning photo on Dougals Army facebook page x

I was just thinking. Colin Buther used to work as a police detective in Surrey. He now works as a Pet Detective, and has much success in locating missing/stolen dogs whilst in the police force, and working as a Pet Detective too. He also owns a black cocker sponiel who helps him called Molly. Molly has been specailly trained to sniff out cats too. As a professional, I don`t know the costs. He is willing to travel all over the UK. He did say in an interview though that he is willing to give advice over the phone... His email; info@thepetdetective.com Phone no.

Possible sighting of Hovis in Trysull area of Wolverhampton yesterday - is it possible to put out message to members in and around that area - this is the first positive and credible sighting for a very long time. Thank you

i would poster around the area where she been seen. And post flyers through doors too. Contact vets in, and around the surrounding areas to see if they have a similar dog on their books, and ask then to scan them. Post a STOLEN DOG ad in a National newspaper too. I would also post the said ad in a Wolverhampton newspaper too. Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share as well as Doglost. Keep making Hovis "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" Pawa, and fingers xd.

Sadly no news of Hovis in a very long time. 2 years since she was taken from us and she is so loved and missed every single day - the hurt doesn't lessen with time. We live with the small hope that we will one day be reunited but it's hard to stay positive. Thanks to all who continue to think of Hovis xx

A DogLost member called Debs has spotted that there is a huge resemblance to a dog called Phoenix id 125888 which is missing in Wales. She had only just been rehomed. These two dogs look almost identical, is it possible that they could be the same dog?
If they are the same or two different ones I really hope so much that they are back home safe and sound asap. Such beautiful dogs.

There are no new sightings reported of Hovis, please can anyone in the Wolverhampton area help with getting posters up in the area to try to get more information as to whether the dog sighted in Bilston area was Hovis. A lot of postering has been done in Warwickshire but more help is needed for Wolverhampton please x

Thanks Saintlyman - sadly not her - we saw this one a couple of days ago I think. Lovely looking dog can't believe it's not been reunited yet, someone must be missing this dog. It was well cared for apparently. Thanks again - please keep looking for Hovis.

Another person has just contacted me to say they think they saw Hovis in the Bilston area of Wolverhampton - WV14 - Prouds Lane area. The sighting is a few days ago but this backs up the tip off that Hovis was being sold on facebook in this area. Please anyone local to Stowlawn/Stowheath/Bilston areas keep looking out for Hovis. She was being walked on a lead with a woman. This makes 2 possible sightings for her in this exact area.

possible sighting Friday 24th November 4.30pm ish in Woodloes area of Warwick. Please keep a look out over the weekend in Warwick and Leamington. If this was Hovis she's nearly got herself home !! We were unable to verify the sighting despite loads of people turning up to help look. THANK YOU to you all - you know who you were and you were wonderful.

1 week exactly since hovis went missing. Please keep sharing far and wide thank you. Our hearts are breaking and so worried about her if she is out there now that the weather is turning so cold this weekend. We still don't know what happened to Hovis at all so we are still looking in the Warwickshire area and at Hay Wood in case she is still there but also trying to spread the message far and wide in case she has been taken and sold on. Thank you all x

Not verified but had a tip off she might have been for sale on facebook page in Wolverhampton WV14 area. Unfortunately the post was removed before we could view it but person who alerted us thinks it could have been Hovis. This happened about 9pm Tuesday 21 November.

Possible sighting of Hovis (not confirmed it was her but a definite dog sighted of right size) running across farmland without a person and in area with no footpath. Fields are to the back of Three Ways Lane Haseley. Dog was seen Saturday at about 1pm and could have been going towards Beausale, Kenilworth or Balsall Common - please look out in these areas now. It's possible she may be trying to get home to Warwick. Thanks to all.
