NickyB I guess its slips a persons mind to update a chip when they move house plus people have to pay so do not bother .I am guilty too of not updating my 3 dogs chips after a house move it has been done now but they was on a list of things to do but I should have done it sooner .

are all these lovely dogs with out of date chip details or without chip at all abandoned? of course all dogs should also have an id tag on their collar - which can be removed. i am hoping father christmas is going to bring every single dog a chip and id tag if they still havent got one
