UPDATE from Daisy’s owners..
We would like to give you lovely people out there an update on our beautiful Daisy dog ! She is behaving as if she has never been away !!
We want to thank you all so much for your amazing messages , calling in to see her , spoiling her with gifts ,we are sure she knows.
Regarding her health she has been seen by the vet , she will be having some operations in time ,which will make her more comfortable .
Thanking you all once again for your support and kindness which has been tremendous . Rita and Philip and of course Daisy dog xx🦮

Can you imagine how it would feel if your beloved dog was stolen, and after many years of searching, they were found 8 years later? 😱

That's exactly what happened to Rita and Philip when they got the call to say that their cherished Labrador, Daisy, had been found earlier this week after she was stolen back in 2017.

Daisy was discovered during a routine investigation in Weston-super-Mare, where our inspector had concerns about a number of untreated mammary masses on her body. Unable to provide the treatment she needed, her owner agreed to sign her over to our care.

She was taken to RSPCA North Somerset Branch where a scan for a microchip revealed she had been reported as stolen, and we were delighted to be able to contact her rightful owners and arrange for her to make the 4-hour journey home.

Now 13-years-old, it seems poor Daisy has endured a hard life and has been used for breeding, but now she's finally back home where she belongs 💙

REUNITED Daisy in the newspaper ❤️

A dog stolen from a home in Old Buckenham seven years ago has been reunited with her family after being found 230 miles away.

This week the RSPCA visited a traveller site in Bristol and after checking Daisy’s microchip it was discovered she was marked as missing.

She was taken to an RSPCA centre in Somerset before being driven across the country on Thursday and back to her Old Buckenham home.

"It's all quite exciting,” Mrs Potter said. “She was five when she was stolen and she will be 13 this year.

“It's unbelievable that she's been found after all this while.

“She's got some tumours on her body which was quite a bit to deal with for her but we will get her sorted.

“All of the grandchildren are so excited to have her back."

Daisy is back home where she belongs, she went missing over 7 years ago when she was stolen from her front garden. A massive search started and the owners never ever gave up but at some point the reality sinks in that they would probably never see her again!
The owner received a phone call to say that Daisy had been found, thankfully her chip details were all up to date!
THANK GOD FOR MICRO-CHIPS!
Just amazing news and thank you to everyone who has helped over the years, I am so, so pleased, and I’m not afraid to say there were a few tears ❤️

I also follow Daisy, and it would be a great early Christmas if she was reunited with her family this year. Someone, must have an idea where Daisy may be. I`m sure I would know if one of my neighbours turned up with an adult dog, I`m sure I would know if one of my neighbours say turned up with an adult dog, I hadn`t seen before. They took her in as a young pup and looked after her, trained her, loved her ! Till she was 5 years of age and the year she was so cruelly stolen from their own safe property and her home ! .. they need daisy back more then ever, they’ve gone through hell and back in 3 years.. crying most nights for the day she’ll come home .. wondering what has happened to her 😞
If you have bought daisy in good faith please do the right thing and hand her into a vets for a chip check NO QUESTIONS OR COME BACK WE PROMISE .. if you the thief and you still have her and you’re continually breeding from her ... you’ve had her for3 years now ! Let her go PLEASE! 🙏🏼 there will be no questions asked as we’ve always said daisy needs to come home now take the reward take her to a vets she must be so exhausted now ! 😞
Please all keep a look out for a golden Labrador black spot under her right eye one black spot on her nose .. she had a hip problem so would limp after long walks or runs ...

There have been a number of facebook posts suggesting a link with the theft of Jet and Daisy, both labradors stolen in East Anglia. A White Nissan Nevera pick up truck (using false plates) closely followed by a white van have been seen close by at the time of both thefts. The Nevera is being driven a lad in his 20s with blonde hair.

Let's hope Daisy is found.I see Milo and Mac were also stolen from Old Buckenham last January.It would be great if all three were found,but seems alarming that there are people driving around the same areas stealing dogs.

FURTHER UPDATE: We have a witness bringing new information to Daisy's search. Daisy was seen being taken from the house/garden driveway by a man looked to be in his 20's blonde hair, wearing blue jeans and a shirt! Daisy was put into the back of a WHITE PICK UP truck and then drove away on the Diss Road! Police are heavily investigating now and are very involved. however Please Carry on sharing!! And be on the look out for the truck and driver of this description!

Update from owner....
We have a witness who has given us a detailed description of a man running up the drive picking up the dog and putting it in his silver pickup truck. All information has been passed to the police who are now investigating. Please share this and be on the look out for this type of vehicle.
