- Update received from owner, further detail or witnesses needed please x "Yesterday we received news that a dog had been fatally knocked down on the M6 motorway close to where Luna went missing on the 26th
We contacted the highways agency and although they confirm they received this report, when they drove down the M6 to collect the dog, the couldn't actually find a dog. They drove down twice. We had also driven the same section last Monday and saw nothing.
We have searched the area where the incident was reported and again have not found her.
It could be that someone else has picked her up from the M6, or maybe she was taken by foxes.
So sadly we do not have complete assurance that it was Luna. However we feel it is too much of a coincidence.
The only possible sighting was of Luna in a village called Codsall, which is about 2 miles from us, on Monday evening at 5 o'clock. However there have been no further sightings. And to be honest I cannot see her travelling that far.
So we're left with the knowledge that she was most probably knocked down by a car. But we do not have absolute confirmation" - 2017-11-27 22:32 Patlucky
