agree with others that giving this one a name is confusing. It could well be a stolen dog from the UK. Could admin take the name off? As if I was looking for my dog I think I would discount this one perhaps by mistake ....

We had quite the bombshell this week with our lovely boy Smithy. We took him for his vet check and it was found that he has undergone some serious surgery on his hip in the past year or so! He has had a procedure called a Fermural Head Excision. So someone must have loved Smithy very much once - and not too long ago .....
We are still hoping that he is lost and perhaps his owners are not on Facebook or maybe he was stolen in the UK or Ireland and dumped? We want to share his story far and wide in the hope that somewhere out there someone is looking for him??
So if there was ever a post to SHARE - it's this one; lets get Smithy home“

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
