Aren't people jumping to conclusions here? I have 2 CKCS who are loved, groomed and living indoors but if they were found after a forest walk, they would look extremely tatty & neglected. One of them can look scruffy just 5 minutes after being groomed. If lost, I don't doubt that the comments on her condition would be much the same.I hope this little lad is soon in a fantastic home.
Christie
So sad to hear the state of this little chap. Hope this is his chance for a happy ever after.

I believe this poor Cavalier is in an appalling condition. I hope he's not 'home' soon unless it can be proven he has been stolen. I hope he gets a lovely new home and his previous keeper is found and prosecuted for animal neglect. He is currently being fostered. Happier times ahead sweetheart xx
Christie
Definitely a tricolour Cavalier. Hope he's soon home. Have listed him found on CKCS Forums.

I agree this is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel but I wouldn't have said it was leggy. I have 3 and they are all completely different. There was a comment on the original photo about the owner of this poor little one, I hope he stays safe xx
Folly
Definitely not a King Charles. More like a Cavalier although very leggy. Please amend description. Thanks.Poor little chap.I hope his owner turns up.
