Jakes story is in the local paper. he was picked up in wick by the South Glos dog warden. He had been hit by a car although I don't think he was seriously hurt. Sheila stated in her interview that he was "totally bedraggled". Glad he is safe and home. Janine

I spoke to shelia today (Jake's Mum) and she said someone spotted him in Pucklechurch and then Abson. I was told by the dog warden that a similar dog to Jake was spotted near where he went missing yesterday but Sheila has said that it is not possible. I have given her my number and told her to call me if she needed a hand. Janine

Someone may need to poster/search the Snuff Mills/Frenchay area's as he may have holed up that end of the woods, rather than the Fishponds area. Sorry too far away to be of any practical help, but willing this boy home.

Hope that Jake is home soon...if he is anything like my old English Setter check thoroughly in the area that he went missing as he could be holed up hiding peeping out at you unsure what to do next! good luck x

Any stray dogs over he weekend will be taken to Trinity Road Police station....................owner please check there. Also tomorrow please call the DWarden (obviously) and Bristol Dogs Home (I have emailed them a poster)

I was at Vassels park yesterday and saw the posters. I often go there to walk with my two dogs, so will keep eyes peeled. Hope he is home safely soon xx
