I am so sorry to hear about Blue. The remembrance site mentioned below is petsremembrance.com I used this site 5 years ago after the loss of our much loved 17 year old dog and it gave me great comfort to be able to "talk" to her. Thinking of you at this very sad time.

I am so very sorry for your loss of Blue. It` horrible when we lose a pet. Such a lovely tribute to Blue you have posted. Whatever pet we own they are part of our family. Maybe you could put Blue on a Wall of Memory page, which may give you some comfort. Someone said that there is a site where you can pay tribute to a much loved pet as obviously Blue was. God Bless, and ((((HUGS))))

Nightie, night, Blue, sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge with the other "Rainbow babies" who have also passed to the bridge recently. RIP+ God Bless x A~~~Candle~~~burns for you handsome Blue, One day when the time is right, you will meet Blue at the bridge. And he will be like a young puppy again. Forever together.

Please look down on your owners Blue who really need your
strength at this very tragic time for them Blue is now resting, and in the car of the Angels I have re-read your post, and you say Blue will never be by your side again; one day he will be, but the time has to be right time.Last edited: 2017-12-13 20:03:05

CROSS POSTED

Would not normally post such private things on Facebook but due to the love and support we have felt these past few days I feel it's only right we do
Blue was fab this morning vet said he was good in himself so they decided to go ahead with operation. There was always a risk as there is with any operation that there could be complications but Blue was fit healthy and young so they weren't concerned. They started procedure and realised break was a lot worse than expected and more complicated. Due to this it was taking longer and needed to give him more pain relief. Unfortunately this caused Blues heart rate to drop. It then stopped. 3ppl tried to resuscitate him but they just couldn't do anything to bring him back.
Our hearts are broken. I have never felt grief like this. He was such a special boy. Everyone that met him instantly fell in love dog lover or not. This is reflected in the support we have been given throughout this awful traumatic experience. Our hearts will never be complete now that we will never have our boy beside us. We loved him more than words could ever describe.
Thanks you everyone the messages of love are helping us through this horrific time.
Came home today to a card Dixon Shaun and Blue had made for me. If only I could get one more lick
Sleep tight my baby Blue. The best dog in the world. You will never be forgotten. You lightened up my life like I didn't know possible. I'm sure you will be brightening up lives up in the sky. RIP my baby xxxxx

I have just read that Blue had surgery today, he collapsed during it and three vets fought for half an hour to bring him back, but he had gained his wings and flown to the bridge. I will never forget his bravery and courage to get back home. Run free at Rainbow Bridge dear Blue.
