- Update taken from owner on fb
Baileys just got home from the vets. The Stow Vets Surgery are just amazing! We can’t thank them enough. He has a sore throat, temperature and some sore paws and legs. He was given an antibiotic shot so hopefully he should be feeling better soon. Lots of cuddles and rest for the next week or so. Last edited: 2017-12-13 20:56:09 - 2017-12-13 16:43 Reynard

- Bailey was spotted this morning and informed owners. One of the daughters who was travelling in a car spotted him on the road, opened the car door and he duly obliged by jumping in! He was minus his collar and lead and guessing he chewed off lead and collar cane off due to weight loss. I believe the owner is taking him for a vet check in view of the horrendous weather conditions he has lived in! Will update if I hear more.?

- I am going to approach Drone SAR ground group to see if there are further volunteers who will help with a search party this coming Sat morning. If there are people on here and not on social media, please can they post on here and will put up further details of where and timings to meet. Thank you.

- I believe that there is an idea to use a search party in the offing! Will advise on here if and when. If anybody is rushing to go please can they take long stick to prod into bush’s as I’m told it becomes quite dense in places. Also take a spare lead and treats.?
- 2017-12-12 10:02 Jot cotswolds
- It is an extendable lead he is trailing, not a short hand lead, so chances of snagging are high
- 2017-12-12 08:22 ClaireC
- There have been pawprints and what looks like a lead drag in the area lost in. But these were followed but ended by the river! The owner has said that he is a strong swimmer but the -12 temps will not help if he misjudged the rivers edge. There are folk who are going to have a look along this stretch of the river as it’s not a fast flowing one at this stage. When the snow starts to melt that may not be the case. I hope my worst fears are allayed and we find him safely tucked up somewhere, preferably on someone’s sofa until the weather improves and can be taken to a vet for chip check.

- This boy remains lost in around minus 12 tonight...drone went up today but no sign. His lead attachef means he may be stuck but snow in area is preventing many searching. Owner needs feet on the ground to save this dog. Heat seeking camera would be invaluable.

- Owner aware of possible sighting
a dog was sighted at Texaco Garage on Fosse Way, Slaughter Pike. Don’t know when. The snow is bad here this morning so no one from the village has been able to get down to search, although a local lady, Christine is. Last I heard from Donna she was stuck in the snow in her car trying to get there. - 2017-12-10 10:39 Nicky - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
