From FB wonderful news Jasper has been found - crossposting "Maxine a dog walker found him he ran out from bushes around the maze with her dogs and she called him and he ran into her arms. Just saw the owner Chloe with him taking him to the vets as he is skinny and to check him over, but he looked ok 🙌🏻😬 so happy!!! Chloe will update us later "

In case it's of any help have just seen this post on Facebook from owner with details of sightings:

"We lost our dog on Saturday (Dec 9th) in Crystal Palace park, We've been searching since then and can't find him. I'm desperately hoping someone local has found him - trying to spread this across as many local networks as possible. Please, please share.

Pictures attached and will give a reward to anyone who can get me to him.

He's only a 9 month old puppy and a rescue so he is really nervous around people and loud noises. Answers to Jasper and loves treats.

He has a leather style collar with retractable leash, and is also chipped.

Please please share this picture. If anyone has seen him please call 07538131825.

If you are able to print any posters and put in your local areas that would be amazing. Poster as PDF available here:

Update as of Monday (11th December) evening:
===

There have so far been 4 sightings:

* Saturday - 1.30pm Crystal Palace Park Road (heading North)
* Saturday - 1.45pm Crystal Palace Park Parade ( Heading west)
* Sunday - 2.30pm South Norwood hill, at the junction with Whitehorse Lane (Heading towards the lakes)
* Today - ~1.30pm Crystal Palace Park at top (heading towards the wooded area at the north of the park)

We're starting to get a clearer picture of his movements and he doesn't seem to have strayed more than a mile away from our house. We're fairly certain he has a hiding sport somewhere between CP Park and South Norwood lakes.

We are so incredbly greatful to everyone that has been helping so far - it's honestly so amazing. So thank you all.
Our best course of action is to keep sharing, the more people that see this post the more information we get and the clearer idea of where he is.

All the local vets and wardens have our details and we're trying to keep positive that he will turn up somewhere eventually.

Unfortunately we have to go back to work tomorrow so we're now only able to look for him in the mornings and evenings, until the weekend - every possible pair of eyes out there looking for him is going to be a huge help in getting him home."

Julie. I saw Jasper at about 1.30pm on Saturday. I'll go and walk round the area with my springer tomorrow.

Update this from a sighting reported to us earlier today. One of the team taking down the WinterFest fencing at the top of Crystal Palace park spotted a dog matching Jasper's description running up the steps away from WinterFest. This was about 1.30pm on Monday 11th December.

As of this sighting Jasper appears to still be wearing his collar, with the leash attached.Last edited: 2017-12-11 19:07:53 by ChloeWatts

Any more sightings today? If he is still lost, I will head to Crystal Palace with my very reluctant puppy now.

I've just had a call saying that Jasper was seen on South Norwood Hill about half way up at the junction with Whitehorse lane this afternoon around 2.30pm. He was running around in the road a little haphazardly in the snow.

I've just posted on Facebook but we saw Jasper running up the middle of Crystal palace park road with his leash bouncing behind him, adding to his terror. Traffic stopped and he ran into garden of no 59 (?) on left as going up .. back towards park/ campsite. I was in car with husband who has broken leg so didn't have opp to do anything but the lady in fiat500 in front of us pulled over and was giving chase on foot. I'm so sorry that he wasnt rescued then. Will keep eyes peeled and finger's crossed.
