- Lilly and Dolly's owner Noel said this:
I would like to thank everyone who has helped in searching for Lilly and Dolly, those going out to the common at all hours and those who have given their support in other ways with advice and best wishes. I could not have got through this without all of your support and good wishes; I am very blessed.
Both Lilly and Dolly are at the vets being treated for their various wounds.
It looks like they have been stuck underground for the past 3 days.
Thanks again xxx - 2017-12-13 12:17 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- As expected both dogs were down a badger sett. Mum returned to car first followed by daughter 2 hours later.
They are both at vets now covered in sand and sand in eyes. The vet is trying to save the sight of mums eyes who has also been bitten by a badger. Paws in for these two. Last edited: 2017-12-13 12:18:26 by Jenny & Tiga k9tracker - 2017-12-11 18:05 csquaredb
- Just seen this posted yesterday on Claygate Dog Owners: We were at black pond at 3pm but didn’t see anything I’m afraid. I don’t want to worry you further but we did hear a dog sounding a little lost but couldn’t find him. It was to the left hand area before the sand path going down the hill. It may have been nothing but I thought I’d mention it - so sorry hope you find him.
If they are stuck down a hole, it might have been them that were heard. Worth seeing if there are any badger setts or foxholes where she's describing. You can make a makeshift listening device with a kitchen funnel and a length of garden hose. - 2017-12-11 14:49 Jenny & Tiga k9tracker
- Noel has just called me for help and my suspicion is that these 2 are both down a fox or badger hole as this was the direction they both ran and apparently they have done this a number of times before in other areas.
