What terrible news. My condolences to her family, who must be distraught. I think I may have edited her post incorrectly. I did fill in the rainbow bridge bit so wasnt expecting it to say Reunited although her owner does now have her body :(

Sadly this isn't the update we had hoped for . Fern's body has been found downstream. Our thoughts are with her owner who is devastated. A massive thank you to Lost Pets IOW, Wight Pet Trackers and the local community who came out in force to help find her. Sleep tight little one xx

We have checked her chip details and they are all correct.

Lost Pets IOW and Wight Dog Trackers are being incredibly helpful in the search for Fern.

IOW Harbour Master has also been contacted for worse case scenario

Have shared Fern on FB and following her thread in Lost pets IOW who are being very supportive.So hope she is found safe

Owner is elderly and not very IT savvy. We have been informed that the Dog Warden has been contacted not sure about vets. Lost Pets IOW are helping to search for Fern.

Fern was last seen in a garden of a house she was visiting which backs onto the river. There is no fencing and the fear is she may have ended up in the water.

Has owner called all vets in the area and the Dog Warden?plus call the chip company to make sure details are uptodate. flood the area with posters too xxx
