- Great news. So presume indoor cat? It is good that you are having Chico neutered. Neutering stops them from spraying on the furniture, going a long way to seek a mate. fighting with other cats, and prevents them from Feline Aids which can result in male cats getting types of ulcers on their testes, And of course unwanted kittens. These facts were told to me by Cat Protection when I adopted a rescue cat One volunteer told me that they sometime have to explain to some cat owners that it is best for the cat. If a cat owner is on a low income, They can get their cat neutered for just £5 with a voucher from CP (Sometimes free) How good is that?
The best way to try to coax your cat back is with their scent, and their owners too. As you say another animal may take the food. Stay close Chico:-)xxxLast edited: 2017-12-14 07:34:46 - 2017-12-13 21:04 catia
- Thank you for the tips, i left some treats in the afternoon and now they're gone, not sure if it was him or another animal. Chico was due to be neutered next week ( apt on Monday), so , no, not neutered yet. He was not allowed outside, he escaped in the morning whilst I went to grab an umbrella when leaving for school run.Last edited: 2017-12-13 21:05:08 by catia

- Check all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars in case shut in. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as his scent will be there. Put some tuna in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in sheltered spot, or hang on the washing lin if dry; used towels too. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on,. and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him, (Common problem) When it is nightfall, and you are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Paws xd.
