Just want to say a special thanks to all who responded to the call to help find Rex. It was amazing the number of people who telephoned with sightings and the number of people who spent large parts of the last two days looking for him. Many many thanks.

Spent a couple of hours mooching around all the sighting areas between Bassleton woods and The Green but sadly no sign 😟
Met the guys (and their dogs) on the Green who are co-ordinating the search - also met a couple of PCSOs who had spotted Rex running along Thornaby Road last night by the allotments and had called the dog warden. Have given the PCSOs the numbers to call if they see him again.

Seen around 8am in vicinity of Green near Jolly Farmers in Thornaby. If Rex could be guided into a garden that and left until I or a friend arrive that would be great. Not an aggressive dog but he is very insecure and nervous of people.

It is difficult knowing what to do for best as he is very wary of people. More chance of Rex following your dog. I'm going to be in the area in the morning to follow up any sightings unless I get anything definite during the night. Thaks for your concern.

Been out with my dog Tonight in the woods near Ingleby Barwick but no sign of him, what's the best way to handle him if seen
