While I am sure the owner is desperate to get home, when dogs are lost and panicking like this they may not even come to the owner - if he is being sighted it is possible he may be caught if he can be cornered in a garden or smaller area. Maybe another dog he knows could be used to encourage him.

Owner still stuck in New York, very distressed - Virgin say tickets non transferable - will cost 8k to come home and that won't be for another 24 hours.... I am on Twitter @beverleycuddy asking Virgin to create some magic and get them home quicker and cheaper - it is Christmas. Loads of sightings of Freddie but he's terrified, if Lynne is on the ground more chance of success. She is very distressed as Freddie's sibling (who was owned by the dog sitter) was killed on the road in the area he was lost. She is in pieces - she is desperate to get home. If anyone can RT the appeal to Virgin it includes the DogLost link. Let's get this in the media and get Lynne and Freddie home and reunited.

Owner desperately trying to come home from New York, may now have run out of battery or be in the air as not heard for her for a while. If she managed to get the next flight she should land at 6am. But don't know if she's on it or not.

I have shared to various Poodle groups also people who live in the area and others. As a Poodle owner of over 50 years I can only imagine how desperate his owner must be feeling. I hope he stays safe until caught.
