I was wondering if Daisy could be hiding close by like Angus (reunited 122651) the 14 week old pup lost in Richmond? Does anyone know if the immediate area has been searched? Hope she will be home safe soon

Hi everyone. I’ve spoken to the daughter of the elderly owner today. Daisy is 12 weeks of age. The police have checked the cctv images and it would appear that the dog was not snatched from this gentleman. The images show the dog running around off lead whilst both the owner and another male attempt to catch her. The dog then runs away and the other male continues trying to catch her. The owner is convinced that the other male stole the dog. Whilst this may possibly be the case, the police can’t deem the dog as stolen as this isn’t backed up by CCTV.

I was out searching last night until 1am for thus baby no luck I’m afraid, I couldn’t sleep will be out again in a bit to look, I’m in the Oakridge area so hopefully she has stayed close x

How on earth was she initially posted on FB as stolen, even with descriptions of the thief?
Can we clarify age as well - initial post said 17 weeks, below says 12 weeks.
Poor lillte mite. Hope she's back home soon.

‘**UPDATED WITH ADDITIONAL DETAILS - PLEASE READ **

It appears from CCTV images that Daisy may not have actually been stolen from her elderly owner, and certainly wasn’t snatched from his arms as some posts have suggested.

Daisy is potentially loose in the area that she went missing. Given her size, age and vulnerability it is imperative that she is found very quickly.

If she has not been found safe overnight, then I will request volunteers to help start a search for her.

I will keep you updated.

A 12 week-old puppy is missing in Basingstoke.

The puppy is cream in colour, and is a cross-breed (poodle x shih-tzu). She is microchipped.

The puppy went missing whilst in the vicinity of the underpass near The Soldiers Return pub. This was at around 2pm today.

Please share this post. The pups elderly owners are distraught.

Please can we ask everyone to share this post. Daisy a 17 week old Shih Tzu cross, photographed here, has been snatched from her owner’s arms this afternoon Thursday 21 December 2017 whilst they were walking near the Soldier’s Return underpass in Basingstoke. The only description that we have is that she was stolen by a young man. Daisy is microchipped. If anyone has any information please telephone the owner directly on 01256 412 940.
