- Shorty's family are really keen to contact the kind man who removed his body from the canal, if anyone knows who this may be, please could you ask them to make contact x

- We do believe this to be Shorty, having compared photos, the date & location are the same, the finder didn't see environmental health so could be they returned body or someone else arrived in meantime x

- Sadly Shorty's body was found in the canal, the family have his body for burying so it is thought may be a second dog found, although the pic could well be Shorty so we are looking into this x
