- When indoor cats escape they feel very scared, and anxious being out of their comfort zone which is indoors with people they trust; their owners. A door where he has access to open wide, and stand aside (Don`t block his entrance) Put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and place it about twice the width of the door. Put scented items of Mr. Ted`s, and place it a few yards from the open door. Post flyers through doors too, and poster around the area. In door cats tend to hide near their own home. Paws xds.
