Sega was found round the corner, owners put posters up and in the local shops. When they went to the last shop the shop owner said they knew who had him and gave owners their address, he had been found wandering locally. Posters working their magic again. A big thank you to the finder and shop keeper. Owners are so grateful for all the help and advice they have had from DL. They are going to get Sega CHIPPED and look at getting him a TATTOO as well. Sega could easily be mistaken for a Belgian Shepherd Dog (Groenendael) and vice versa, although the Belgian is completely black and longer in the face. Jet my previous smooth coated GSD was all black and they are not as common as the black and tan or sable. The tan on Sega is from his paws to about half way up his legs. His tan feet may prove to be the thing that decides it is him as there will be several who fit the description and since he has no chip or official ID. Good luck, he's lovely.

Hope you find your boy soon. Am in Rushden and also have a GSD so will be keeping a keen eye out. Where abouts in Rushden did he escape from?Also work @ Wood green so will buzz them and see if any have come in. Will also source and post other rescue N0's on here for owner but no doubt they'll have already done that!! Animals in need in Irthlingborough take in stray's I believe, the guys name is Roy number is 07950062775, Jaygee 01604 880003, Maxicare 01933 666465, Wellingborough Dog welfare 01933 2233698. to owner of sega there is an animal rescue sanctuary at raunds very close to you called brooke farm 07758728265 worth trying them. soon as i get a photo through will poster all around my house and area and keep a look out to see if i see this dog again. it could be a long shot but you never know !!

Spoken to owner, a family member is scanning a photo to email to admin, owner does not have an email account, but I've discussed how to set one up. Passed messages on especially rostro's. Sega is longhaired. Police and vets have been informed, they are going to contact the DW. Owner is going to register a.s.a.p. and leave an update. Jan x

do you know if this is rushton or rushden as they are about 15miles apart from each other ? Is this a long haired german shepherd as I am about 7 miles away and i saw a young girl walk past my house today with a long haired black one on a piece of rope !!! never seen it or her before, but hadn't logged on and seen this lost dog. I am in burton latimer.
