To everyone at DogLost, all the wonderful supporters and volunteers who dedicated the last 8 days and wet nights physically searching the streets, gardens, woods, parks, canals, every cubby space in all the post codes of the sightings of Lia, putting up posters. There are truly no words to describe the feeling of being reunited with a very special member of our family-Lia, thank you all so much for everything, lots of love, David McClendon

Am so so pleased that we were all able to help and support David and his family, all because of this wonderful DogLost website. I will make sure to take down any posters I have put up round the Primrose Hill/st Johns Wood areas now. So so so delighted!!!!

New sighting - David aware - from Help Find Lia
NEW SIGHTING: DAVID AWARE

David just got a call from someone saying they saw Lia later on Saturday night (same evening she was seen at Gospel Oak) crossing FITZJOHN AVENUE south of LYNDHURST. Post code for Fitzjohn Avenue is NW3 its a long road connecting Swiss Cottage to Hampstead and it looks like she came through Belsize Park when she left the Gospel Oak area.

We'll be heading Fitzjohn and it's surrounding roads with more posters soon! Somebody saw a poster and recognised her guys the posters are working let's get more up!!!
davidmcc78
Morning everyone, we had several groups distribute more posters yesterday in the areas around the last know sighting of Lia-Gospel Oak Station, please check her FaceBook page for the areas covered, if anyone needs more posters please let me know. I will be working my up from Regents Park were Isabel was found and backtrack up this morning.
davidmcc78
Thank you mardy, we had 3 other groups in the Heath earlier searching everywhere ponds, woods, etc. no luck, I've moved thru Camden and Kentish Towns...its super busy hopefully someone will spot her if she's there. Last edited: 2017-12-31 14:13:31 by davidmcc78

Heading to Hampstead Heath this morning so will keep an eye open there

Searched gospel oak, Camden, Kentish Town and West Hampstead today but no sign. There will be a lot of people out and about travelling to and from NYE events tomorrow night. I think if we cover the areas with posters focussing especially on tube/stations and bus stop we may have a good chance of getting sightings reported tomorrow. Also mentioned to any bar/pub body guards and taxis and police cars as all will be busy. Going to ask David to either do another doglost profile with just a picture of Lia or to update this one so as not to confuse anyone and the picture will be bigger of Lia. I can poster gospel oak tomorrow is there anyone else around who could take some areas nearby? Happy to print posters for people who don't have access to printing etc.
Fiona
Might be worth alerting/contacting groundsmen at Hampstead Heath. Not far from Gospel Oak, and a big dog community there. Wish you all the luck finding her.
Mary
Gospel Oak is NW5 I believe. Alerts were sent by Alison so helpers in the area will have details. Lost dogs usually travel in a triangle so it would be worth plotting sightings on a map until she settles.

Lia spotted few minutes ago near Gospel oak tube David aware. Anyone in the area? Please don’t try catch by follow from distance and call David who is on his way

Just spoke to David - we were searching and postering around Primrose Hill and St. John’s Wood most of this morning - he has just had a call from a lady in gospel oak saying there is a sighting. There were sightings yesterday of her in both the Marlowes (st Johns Wood) and Regent’s Park running track so this dog is moving far each day. David is heading to gospel oak direction now and trying to get confirmation of exactly where in gospel oak the sighting was. If anybody is in that areas and able to get out and help search then do contact David So he can update you on which exact street etc. Got everything crossed!!!! Not sure what postcode Gospel oak is?Last edited: 2017-12-30 18:03:51 by B_London

I drove around Maida Vale for an hour, added some posters around the canal area, went up and down Randolph Ave, and walked around Paddington Rec into far corners. Have also posted dog missing info on Nextdoor website for Maida Vale area. I live close to Randolph so will keep searching.

COPIED FROM A POST ON FACE BOOK ....THIS WAS POSTED 29-12-17 IN THE NIGHT ASHE WORKS NIGHTS.......My husband has just set off for work and spotted a French Bull dog and a Husky type dog running along the road near Lorretta Lodge in Headley, Surrey [KT18] I have driven there myself but cannot see them.

We did receive confirmation that Lia was seen Thursday morning at the Marlows NW8 6NA, looks like she's possibly moving in a triangular pattern.

I received a phone call from the Mayhew Animal Home this morning a caller reported a Husky walking along Randolph Ave W9 Maida Vale yesterday, this is very close to our old residence on Warrington Cresent. Please be on the lookout in that area. West Hampstead where she went missing is just north of that area.
davidmcc78
Morning everyone, I left articles of clothing and food in the spot where Isabel was found. It's on the North side of Regents Park at the running track. If your facing the middle of the track it is a few meters to the right in the trees on the side of the canal. We had a search party there early this morning to see if Lia could possibly follow Isabel's scent. If anyone is in the areas North of Regents Park/Primrose Hill/Camden areas please be a lookout in your gardens or any area that she could be hiding in since the forecast for today is rain. Thank you.
Viv B
Hoping for good news for Lia, too. Still looking out this end and checking sites for any found dogs. Good luck.
B_London
Have just contacted owner me am off out to help search as that’s v close to me now. Have posted on our Nextdoor forum for primrose Hill and surrounding areas. Canal v close so will start there as lots of hiding places with fewer walkers. Will also suggest contacting the zoo in case cctv has caught her / zoo food has lured her in.

The message was sent this morning at 12:16.

I spoke to an individual earlier this evening, on Boxing Day a Husky fitting the description of Lia was seen running across Chichele Road and Stanley Gardens in the Crickelwood area around 12:30pm, this was the last known possible sighting of one of the girls. We just made several patrols around the Cricklewood area tonight so far coming up empty. If anyone sees any one of the girls please try to stop and apprehend them.
davidmcc78
We just want our girls home safely.Last edited: 2017-12-27 18:32:03 by davidmcc78
davidmcc78
Thank you again Viv, we checked Fryent County Park, Roe Green Park and the surrounding neighbourhoods again in case the girls doubled back..still no luck.
Viv B
This afternoon, drove up and down the Edgware Road (A5) a few times in that part that is covered by NW9 postal district - no sightings again.
Viv B
Edgware postcode is HA8 and also covers Burnt Oak; NW9 covers Colindale, West Hendon and parts of Kingsbury.
davidmcc78
Thank you Viv, I'm heading outwards in a circluar pattern checking surrounding parks and neighborhoods. There was a posting that they were both seen 13 hours ago in NW9 Edgware. Trying to get a confirmation on this. I'm now leaving the Welsh Harp again just met up with close friends that help with the search. Last edited: 2017-12-27 13:49:49 by davidmcc78

Had a look round the West Hendon playing fields, nw9 area, and surrounding roads - unfortunately no sightings, got back half an hour ago.

davidmcc78
Thank you Sharon, if anyone lives in the surrounding areas of Hendon, Neasden, Wembley, Brent Cross, Coindale, Preston, Dollis Hill or even further out please look out side from time to time its raining and cold and I know the girls are probably hungry and cold. Thank you.
DogLostSharon - Social Media Volunteer
I have shared with DL FB Page, Twitter & Public. I hope that Lia & Isabel are both safely back at home soon.X
davidmcc78
It has been confirmed that they were sighted there once at 10am this morning and two times in the afternoon from 12-1:30pm. It's 10:25pm now almost 48 hours after the girls went missing, we are headed back to that area in the morning. They are probably cold and hungry, if anyone sees them they are friendly and approachable. Please hold them there and call us, thank you. The Welsh Harp Open Space - Brent Reservoir close to Hendon and Neesden off the North Circular Road. Last edited: 2017-12-26 14:38:36 by davidmcc78
