We are all prepared for the night now. Going to catch sleep now so fully rested before we go outside and camp. Just for the final time, stay away from the area if you know where it is, we will update and chat with you through the night when we arrive. Thanks again for all support. 🙏💙

IMPORTANT UPDATE: we’ve had advice from SSPCA for everyone to stand down. We’ve identified a central point that she keeps coming back to because I’ve been back and forth from there, that she feels safe and I’ve been right up to her 2-3 times now. I ask the task now is to stand down and keep people away from the area so I can spend time there to build up the trust. Thank you everyone who staked out this morning, we are heading down now and will keep everyone updated via here and Twitter about progress and any more sightings.

We have enough cars now. We are quietly staking out this area as I think it is going to be around now she's going to break cover.

Thanks Ray, I had to get facebook for this as well.

I will check this out.

We had a sighting at 20 to midnight last night, couple who found her the night before, found her asleep where we'd left her bed the night before, she was lying down and arched neck around to see them. We arrived, we got really close to her, she let us come right up to her before scurrying off. She came back around us twice circling. We waited for 3 hours then went cold. Left smelly food and bed. Went back up this morning 6.30, no disturbance or signs she'd ate from the food. We know she is trying to get home as she was miles away after getting spooked yesterday on the way to home.

We are now asking volunteers to sit in cars along greenfield avenue with eyes on road to baird road as she was spotted at this time trying to get up my parents street but got spooked by a BMW.

Have been searching for her all day around these areas. I have walked my other dog around the areas from below - but also around where we walked on xmas day which was the only place she'd been in Ayr prior. I walked her around Alloway, down to brig o doon entrance of old railway, along to Dunure road and over to Greenan castle, down to beach and along up road at spar to greenfield avenue on Xmas day - this is only places she knows + cambasdoon, shanters way, could be anywhere
jennifermjones
We seem to have lost her again but she was last seen at the heads of ayr. If you are hunting for her, we are looking at the farm roads, the old railway, the road up to Greenan Castle. I’m going to walk my other dog up this road.
jennifermjones
Had a positive sighting of her tonight in Bellisle just off the entrance at 9pm, she came right up to the couple and then ran off. We've been down for a few hours but she seems to have gone low again but it was definitely her. She is still very spooked but it is a positive sighting to know she is alive and bouncing. Left her bed and taking a hot water bottle back just now.
