- Holly I think your middle name is Lucky. Well done finder for taking care of her and contacting owner. The reason why the septic tank was open will no doubt remain a mystery but if it wasn't maybe Holly would still be on the run! God moves in mysterious ways. Bet you smell better now you have had a bath. I'm sure with lots of TLC you will soon be back to your old self. Stay safe now Holly. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Brilliant news Holly is back HOME. Owner rang about half an hour ago, with the great news. He got a phone call at about 1700 hrs, tonight from a farm helper in Allenheads who had found her in the farm sceptic tank, luckily it had only recently been emptied and was not full. The helper took her home and looked after her, he was able to contact her owner as the area had been postered by her owner. Allenheads is approx 20 miles from owners home. When owner arrived at the finders home Holly was being comforted by the finder?s children. Holly is very thin and had a few urine burns from the tank, looks like she has been out all the time she has been missing. She has been checked over by the vet and is being fed small amounts of food to build her back up. She had just got out the bath when her owner rang me. Owners are over the moon to have her back and would like to pass on their thanks to DL for all the help and support they have had. They will be going back to see the finder and his family when she is more back to normal?????. A big big thank you from DL to the finder for rescuing her from the tank, taking the time to look after her and contacting her owner, you are her guardian angel. Welcome home Holly and hope you are soon back to your normal self, so over the BLUE you go where you belong. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi, Owner probably already has this info but Allenheads is quite a big shooting Estate belonging to Lord Allendale, one of the keepers is Paul Anderson, unfortunately I don't have any tel. no's or any more info, but its not usually difficult to find these things out locally. Also one of the web sites (dogpages) is showing a complete list of dog wardens for UK and N. Ireland. http://www.luton.gov.uk/internet/environment/dogwarden.html e mail from a helper. - Majorjet you can pass on my email or mobile if you like and we can try and sort the photo if that helps, I will put posters out once we have the photo. I'll try and contact some of the shooting crowd around that area as they are likely to spot a springer. Anything else I can do for now?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
