I didn't know that info Janiejewel1649. says it all really the Government getting tax from sale of fireworks.you'd think Guy Fawkes would've put them off..they are nothing more than explosives which is just unbelievable and beggar's belief that they are still allowed to be sold.shame on you government

I too wonder about those idiots too. Makes you wonder how they were brought up. As for the fireworks law I believe that the Government get tax back from the sale of them.Last edited: 2017-12-31 13:59:46

This is such wonderful news! have been so worried for Nora especially when i saw highways agency had reported a sighting on the busy roads. My heart sank when I read how some absolute brainless idiots threw fireworks..how can this still be allowed to happen?? Apart from signing petitions which we've all signed what else can be done?.So happy for you Nora and your loving owner.Happy New Year xxx

CROSS POSTED UPDATE by one overjoyed OWNER

SHE'S HOME!!!!!!!!!

She's tired, she's limping a bit but she's HOME!!!!!!!!!!!

I AM SO HAPPY!!!!! Little madam was camping nearby and came running out to her name being called!

I can't thank everyone enough for all their help sharing, searching, giving me support, putting up with me constantly crying and panicking and refusing to eat and sleep.

I have never felt worry like it in my life. But I'm SO relieved she's home.

A special thankyou to my best friends Meg Evans and Beverley Gregson who have been there every minute of the day putting up with me. And a HUGE HUGE thankyou to Donna Ryan, Deb Barry, Angela Booth, Dawn Goulden Was Hanrahan, Sara Lewis, Jan Major and DogLost North West for stepping in and being just amazing with EVERYTHING. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart to everyone, it's amazing how complete strangers aswell as my friends have stepped up and offered their help and support. I'm completely overwhelmed.

Thankyou a thousand times Last edited: 2017-12-31 10:14:57

Have you left something that smells of you where last seen and scented her way home? Try contacting www.k9tracker.co.uk, probably too far to come and track but you will get good advice. I hope Nora is home soon.

CROSS POSTED UPDATE by NORA’s OWNER:

It's nearly been 72 hours since my cheeky naughty Nora was spooked by some complete imbeciles who thought it was a laugh to launch a firework at us. I'm a mess, I have never ever been this heartbroken or stressed. I can't sleep or eat without feeling guilty that my girl is somewhere out in the cold feeling scared.
The worst part is I have no idea where to keep searching as there have been no sightings in the last 24 hours.

THANKYOU to each and every person who has helped, put posters up, rang and offered me advice and support it means the world to me to have complete strangers offering to help me find my baby. I'll never give up, but I can't help but keep thinking the worst. I hate not knowing even what area she's in. So Please, keep sharing her posts, tell your family, friends, neighbours, person who comes in the shop, postman, anyone you speak to just to spread awareness about her because that might just lead to the sighting that I need and one step closer to having her back home. And also to re-iterate... No matter how much of a "dog person" you are please don't think you know best - do not approach her just call me immediately. My number is on her original post.

Please just show yourself Nora Last edited: 2017-12-30 19:31:26

When this happened to me and my Romanian dog, I stayed overnight at the place where we usually parked the car. She came back in the middle of the night - 19 hours after she bolted. Have you tried spending the night in the place where she went missing?
