- According to local facebook group it seems the dog belonged to a man who moved in with a woman and her children and despite the fact that he cared for the dog the woman didn't want it. So I think it's probably safe to say the dog was 'let out' and is now not wanted.

- Dog has a microchip scanned by local vet. The registered number was called but the person claimed the dog had been rehomed several times and was no further help. She is currently at the vets waiting to be collected by West Berks dog warden.
