Have just phoned to give list of local dog wardens and rescues to hear that Alfie is safe. Not sure of all details but they circulated the information that he was missing- following our advise and they had a phone call to say he has been picked up. they said many thanks to everyone for their help and advice. have spoken to alfie's owner re picture and she is getting one over to us as soon as she can. Please local helpers. this lady really needs a hand in terms of expertise, where to poster, who to contact etc. have done what i can but am in south wales so do not have the best knowledge of this area!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.
