- I just saw this post cross posted and the original is on LipHook Rants page on Facebook.
Start quote: Hi all, I have just seen a big white/beige dog running in the road by Lindford Road/Broxhead area, it was an afghan hound type build and looked quite thin (although they have a thin build he/she looked quite bony). I pulled my car over and tried to get near but unfortunately he/she bolted back into Broxhead Woods and seemed very timid. Not wearing a collar that I could see although it had longish hair so I may have missed it. Posting here in the hope someone knows who he/she is!!End quote - 2018-01-18 12:23 Georgy Porgy
- Any further news on this one please?

- Hi Shirley I hear your distress in your post. Hope people local are continuing to help. Not getting info posted on here causes lot of anxiety especially if don't do Facebook etc like me? If not already done ring Ray & dog warden again. Is food being left to keep dog in area? Unfortunately alerts don't go out from Doglost on 'found' listings. Check your local Doglost Facebook public page. I'm not in your area to help but really hope this dog is caught soon xLast edited: 2018-01-10 14:04:05 by Georgy Porgy

- Hello Ray and Dog Lost team, the dog warden has not received any more sightings today which is a little worrying as sighted daily this week. So hopefully in the woods safe from the dangerous roads around here. Just hoping too that if people see it tomorrow that they do not pursue it and just call the dog warden instead. I also saw your team have been building trust with another tan lurcher in Clandon Park, Guildford using food and small steps. Wondering if you could maybe do this too with this lurcher and work with the dog warden? I am of course not trained in this but I do own two lurchers and know neither of them would go into a crate full stop especially if lower than their height even with food. So wondering if you could maybe together do both methods? Many thanks

- This is the dog warden number for the weekend 01730 266551 maybe call them too as not sure they want others involved. I’ve tried to ask people to not pursue dog but to post sightings and call dog warden But I think they do need a hand as this is one scared dog who has been out ALL week and not gone back to their trap. I think it maybe on its way towards take so heading there now.

- Hi Shirley. I saw your post in the Lost section but normally a dog that is seen loose but doesn’t have an identified owner is put in found section but as sighted only. So I think the dog is now in the right section. Well done for helping this dog x
