I think this should be put on the sight because we can not shut our eye to these things if we do we are almost saying that this dose not happen, and we can learn from this and also try to find ways that this dose not happen, there is a lot of people out there do not believe that a dog will get put down they assume that they just get moved on, when talk to some they say they did not know that there is a 7 day rule so a dog dose not have to have a problem to be PTS, and if owners do know this by looking on this sight or the word goes around then they will be more careful with there dog and make sure they have all the ID on them. So it is up to us to educate people about the problem of dogs with out ID and to also make them aware of the scum out there who will harm and treat a dog so bad, it is hard enough to try and get the government and the midair to except we have a very big problem in this country with curtly. And we are almost has bad as other country's and are loosing the reputation of being a animal loving country. So no Please do not hide the facts let us know what is going on and others, we have a chose to read or not to read. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It is very sad. But if this dog has to go to Rainbow Bridge then I'm sure he will go with loving people around him. xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

It is NEVER bad dogs, it is bad owners, and until people start training their dogs from the beginning, and making an effort to understand dog language and behaviour, this is going to happen. It should be a compulsory pre-cursor to owning a dog, that an owner should be vetted in this. If people face up to what is really happening, and why some dogs turn out the way they do, perhaps there would less dogs put to sleep. These people should take action and try to make a difference, instead of burying their head in the sand.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Yes, I know, sorry, I wasn't suggesting for one moment... it's about the cruelty they suffer, that's what I'm saying I guess, maybe just if we could give them a loving symbol or something rather than saying he was mean (due obviously to the fact of the way the poor love had been treated) - a bit like a rainbow bridge but without the explanation? I know we all do what we can and I would or indeed could not ever deny that an animal had never existed and I am well aware that it's my own brittleness that's at fault here. Having said that, once chance with the likes of a dog beater/torturer and you'll see what's inside Cosmicveggie!!!!!! ggggrrrrr Thanks Jazzi for all the hard work that you do and I'm sure decisions are very hard to make - I'm assuming you are a DW? or at least work closely with one... my hat off to you. Totally agree Jazzi. Sometimes blinkers have to be removed. We ALL know its due to poor ownership that good dogs turn bad. Thankfully they are the minority in this world. Run free now at peace fella. Sue xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Im sorry you found this distressing Cosmicveggie, but for over 4 years we at Doglost have always protected our helpers and owners from the fate of many stray and abandoned dogs around the UK. To wipe this poor dog from our system, is denying his existence in our world. The system didnt fail this dog, his owner did! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Can't these ones be just taken off the system instead of us knowing what's going to happen like this????!! It's too upsetting... :o( and it probably wasn't their fault...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This young boy has not been claimed. He also has shown serious aggressive behaviour and has bitten, so therefore he is not up for rehoming.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
