This is a male dog - is microchipped but only with details of the breeder apparently who does not want anything to do with the dog
.
The latest info from the finder is that the dog was shaved once at the vets and is a poodle cross. She described it as a him. She does say she has been inundated with messages but I'm going to try and find out whether she is sure of the sex of the dog if poss and will come back her and post if I find anything. Here's what the finder has posted on facebook today -

"Ive been inundated with messages as you can imagine.
Update; Spoken to Woking Borough Council they put me through to dog warden. The woman gave me NO info on the dog and was totally unhelpful and rude putting the phone down on me! BUT someone else has found out that the dog is in kennels for 7 days then will be send to Battersea dogs home so I don’t know how true that is at this stage.I know the dog is in a local kennel atm. Its out of my hands now but i really hope this turns out to be someones lost/long lost dog and they’re reunited. Thank you to everyone who commented and was concerned for the dog. There’s been many homes offered, grooming parlours have offered their services for free, and possibilitys of it being someones lost pet. This dog will now find a good home. X"

Could this be 123742 Sassy? It's only 20 odd miles from where she went missing. That is if this dog is female. My Cairn is blonde just like Sassy but goes a grey colour when matted and wet. You can't really see the head of this terrier to see if it has prick ears. It's a long shot but you never know ......
