- Wire haired whippet sometimes known as a rough coated whippet. Seems to be someone breeding I have seen two recently, had them as a child 70 years ago. One supposedly lost in East Grinstead Christmas time and found, the other lives in the area also and chipped so not this one.

- Theres no such thing as a rough haired whippet - its a lurcher (most likely a bedlington terrier x whippet).
