Update from Zara’s owner - “I’ve just brought her home. She was found at Barry Island by a lovely family from Hereford who stayed with her until I got there. She is flaked out now resting.”

Zara has just gone missing again we were up the fields at the top of the dump as it’s called locally and there was a low rumble of thunder and I think it has frightened her. I have searched all around but no sign. Checking with vets in Salisbury road. If seen she will be very nervous. She disappeared at about 9.50 am 17/8/20

Love a happy ending She looks so contented on her brand new bed. Haven't seen many smiles bigger than the ones Zara's Family have at tho moment. X

Zara and family are exhausted but ok,she is refusing to move from the warmth of home to go to the vets so it has been postponed until tomorrow morning.Zara's family would like to thank everyone who has helped get her to safety xx We returned home from searching & She was waiting in next door's garden for Us.

Plots of friends in Barry out looking now!Will stay in touch with Zara's family. Hopefully won't need to. But will be back to Barry tomorrow. To help. Owners beyond distraught now. Really need our support.

Have spoken with owners. She wasn't wearing a coat. They are exhausted and frantic. Had to leave them to it as I have to go to work. Please keep sharing and looking everyone.

Have spoken to lots of dog walkers in area and park nearby to make them aware.

Zara has been sighted this morning in the Garden Suburb area of Barry specifically Westward Rise, Porth y Castell, Marine Drive she is said to be very nervous but doesn't appear to be injured. If seen approach very quietly and softly.
