there is no new news on whisky we have been going (the family ) around the adjacent areas with posters . I have been checking petsearch and found a westie similar lost in the hampshire area so i checked him out but it wasn't him i hope he gets reunited with his family soon many thanks Nigel & Margaret ..up date from owner.

Another DL helper remembered this: Dog ID=10896 Is it worth DL getting in touch and trying to find out who the original man was. Might (or might not) be same guy but all this must be within a mile radius.

are you ringing the vet in standish, Gardner & Gilmore (I think) on a regular basis. If Whiskey needs treatment, they would be the people who see him in Standish. I put a poster through their door but probably best to keep ringing them because Whiskey is bound to turn up there at some point. Sorry to hear about the crank calls. There are quite a few pubs around too. I am away this weekend. Let me know where you have put posters up and and I will try to compliment that when I am able.

will pass posters to my sister who works at writington hospital and nephew goes to school in standish if whiskey has been sold it will probably be as a family pet so schools are probably a good place to poster good luck Deb x

we have contacted all the vets via email & phone ,he is on the rspca list we contact the dogs rescue centres daily we have gone door to door the one lead we have had that person has disappeared the mother will not give us his whereabouts so we have now passed the details to the police who say they will follow it up . we have had a call from another web site to tell us a westie had been picked up in birkenhead & they had a photograph it wasn't him unfortunately . I would like to thank you all for your efforts and messages they are all gratefully received and are comforting thank you Nigel ........e mail from owner.

Have put posters up at the main traffic lights through Standish/at Sommerfield (other supermarkets are available )) and one outside the pet shop and vet. Have posted one through the vets door as if the dog hasn't already been treated, hopefully it will be soon. Stopped a few dog walkers but noone had seen Whiskey.

whisky went missing on saturday the 2nd feb aprox 7pm from crawford rd aspull wigan wn2 he is a white west highland terrier 11 months old very playful and friendly he suffers from lions head disease for which he takes anti inflammatories daily if you feel under his jaw it will feel as a large bony lump if he doesn't get his medicine it will get very painful . contact nos are 07748843607/ daughter 07518346886 sons no, 07988772369. sons email address is m.robino@ntlworld.com for posters but the address above for local contact with our granddaughter Joanne who willhelp.there is a reward for safe return of whisky many thanks if you need more information please email me or use 07758843607 many thanks Nigel & Margaret Fairclough

there is Bolton Destitute animal shelter too, and the Bolton Dog warden (sorry, don't have numbers). Is owner/gdaughter on this site to get this info or does someone need to print it out and deliver? Aspull is right on the Bolton border so need to make sure they know

I'm happy to help. My printer has just done something odd, so if you could print out, I can put up. I've put up one outside the spar. It would be worth alerting the two local schools, plus the village club opposite. I've been telling local owners. Have you started flyering local houses? Dog warden? Pubs? I have passed on word to 2 local walkers this evening and they will keep their eye out too. Hurry home Whiskey. I have added to poster that he needs regular medication. It could just hurry people along a little.
