Thank you everyone for the amazing work you do! Anita took me to the location where she saw him yesterday. My other dog went off in a hurry sniffing, he then came timidly towards us. It was amazing to see.

Yes Ted found opposite side of a very busy road to Savernake Forest by Anita, well done Anita, Karen, Jemima & Jenny & of course Teds owner Elaine.
Ted seems ok but has sore feet x
skyninchar
Apparently been found, can this be confirmed please
DogLostReynard
Sightings are needed of TED ,if anyone could help please and put up a Poster or two,Ridgebacks can travel some distances .
Its possible after running he will return to point of lost looking for Mum.
DogLostReynard
"Jemima Harrison If anyone spots him, please just call the sighting in and DON'T call him or try to catch him. He has run off from several people already and it would be great if we can get him comfortable in a particular area rather than make him move on. The number again: 07788436515."

Possible sighting approx @ 08:00hrs am today SN9 6NJ (?)
"Sarah Dewar Hi Jemima, it was on the stretch between Pewsey Hill and Milton Hill Farm. The dog was actually running on the road at the time but the deer were to the left and I went back to find the nearest cut through and drive up the track to the farm. I then drove the rest of the road beyond Milton Hill and no sighting. There are lots of woods off to the left beyond the open fields and the deer were heading that way. Happy to go back out and keep looking?"

I have shared with DL FB Page, Twitter & Public. I hope that Ted is safely back at home soon.X

Good advice from the two Jenny's DO NOT CHASE just call owner if sighted.
As it appears Ted has ran back to forest rather than towards Marlborough where he was seen apparently, its possible he is still running around forest looking for mum, so hopefully his owner is sitting tight there, (as good advice already given from Jemima of Black Retriever x Rescue who are in area.)
Good luck!xxx

I’ve shared as locally as possible - fingers crossed Ted is home soon. There were lots of sightings yesterday and I think last one he ran back into the forest.

Wendy thanks for trying to help this dog.
Do you mean possible TED 104803 missing from TA10 ?
It may be worth putting up Posters of Ted in area to get sightings ?

We were driving home today and passed through the main road past savernake forest and saw many cars slowing down because a young dog, quite a large dog, was in the middle of the road, I coudn't get close enough to see which breed but he but he was the size approx of a doberman, we stopped and tried to get his attention, he ran away ,he looked very frightened, then a woman was chasing him and he ran back into the forest. We pulled over as we thought she might be the owner but she wasn't and he disappeared. So sad we couldn't keep up with him. I wish I had some dog treats with me, but couldn't go any further as my mobility wouldn't allow me. I'm sure this was Ted. He didn't appear back on the road. I hope he's found really soon :( We spotted him near the Cadley pub turning. He ran into the forest on the opposite side to the cadley turning, there is a place there you can park a car and piles of logs etc, he ran down thereLast edited: 2018-01-20 18:33:54 by wendy
