Hi Terri, I'm in E/Port if you need a hand with posters. I don't have a printer but if you can some off, I'll be happy to help. Just put on Gyp's page GSD lost 21/1/08 that maybe you can both team up, as their search is now back in E/Port. Seems silly to have 2 lots of people postering same area's. Anyway if I can be of help PM me and I'll give you contact details. Hope Charlie's home soon. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh Terri, so sorry that this was not your Charlie, I was quite hopeful that this was going to be him, so I suppose you have to regroup and concentrate on the area around the possible sighting with the old man = plaster the area with posters and see what happens. take care S xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hi Terri, I would just ring them up and ask if they can tell you a bit about Sonny as you have lost your dog on 06/02 and sonny looks like him, can they tell you when he came in, ask if he is neutered or entire ( you will know about Charlie) if those detsils tie up then ask if the will hold him until you can come in and see, and go asap. Good luckLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hi Terri, I am not sure how it works exactly bit strays get 7 days to get c laimed or they can be put up for rehoming ones that are surrendered can be rehomed quicker, if it looks like him then I would suggest calling first thing and asking them to hold until you can get over to identify one way or the other. Good luckLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ok, sorry Terri, just read down and didn't realise you'd already said about the possible sighting. Are you getting lots of posters and flyers out in that area? Maybe try local radio? You need to flood that area Terri, if he hasn't come forward because he doesn't want to give Charlie back (assuming its him) then you need to make it too difficult for him to keep him, if he hasn't come forward because he hasn't seen the posters then the more you get out there the more chance he or someone who knows him will see them, if you find time hard to come by then why not try asking some of the local kids to put some flyers through doors?, I know I've just stated the obvious but every little helps, good luck Terri. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The smaller posters for Charlie are now on the info centre, just above Dolly's Directive, on the left hand side. Please download and print. Use these now for handouts and to put through doors. Make Charlie well known, and too hot to handle. Good Luck xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Finally spoke to Terri earlier and discussed things to do. We cannot stress enough the need for postering the area and go as far out as possible. Someone may have taken Charlie in and not reported him to the authorities, may also be worth asking rescues etc for border collie crosses as his colouring is unusual for a BC. Do visit kennels in person at least once a week and ask if they will display a poster. To print posters from the site Select 'View Poster' underneath his picture, then you can print. Good luck.
