catty-sara
I'm pleased she has found a home. I have to say, (running a cat rescue) we get more cats in with out of date chip details than we do with correct details, about 3:1. I have written to all the microchip companies in the past asking them to give greater prominence on their literature to the fact that it is the owner's responsibility to update changes etc should they move or change phone number. I will try to get around to doing this again. The majority of people rehoming or visiting believe it is the vets' responsibility or the rescue centres' responsibility, although when asked how the rescue centre would be expected to know they've moved house they are of course unable to answer!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
