The black spaniel (124864) was finally caught on Saturday 27th January after 4 days on the run and taken to vet where his microchip revealed his owner. Two lovely locals went on a mission to get him spending hours a day trying to catch him whilst people put the most current sighting on the Coldharbour Estate-SE9 FB page. Cheri & Suzanne are angels.

Gibbo - I know it will not be news you would like to hear, but the Eltham dog has been caught and reunited with its owner - apparently it is called Prince and may be id 124839 but I am unable to confirm this myself. Good luck in finding Molly xx

Hi Pusscatt I was just going to comment on your post on the other dog I put on doglost. Yes its not clear if there are two dogs or one. I will call doglost today to see if anyone can help you guys as I only saw these two threads and linked them together but Im not in the area and can't offer any advice about capturing this dog as I don't know.

The dog in question just keeps running! I tried last night just after midnight to get it, and it was already spooked when I got there but it stopped and listened when I called it - only to be spooked again by another car. I am not sure if there is a second dog - it could be the same one, as in the same area. Fingers crossed though. The best thing to do is not chase after it - There is also a poster that someone has posted with tips on what to try. Best to try and get the dog to come to you with food etc and gain its trust. It will probably be difficult because of the traffic and noise around. Unfit I am off to work so cannot go to help. I will try and link her in to the poster.

I have listed this dog on doglost after seeing two posts running on the Eltham SE9 FB page about a cocker spaniel that has been frequently sighted since the early hours of Wed 24.1.18. Please follow the thread for more information. There is also a post on the Visit Chislehurst FB page about another spaniel being sighted but people are saying this dog is chocolate brown. Can anyone help with providing Cheri who has frequently seen this dog with advice on how best to bring this dog to safety as I am not able to give this information as do not know myself. The photo's above are of the dog that Cheri has seen.
