Continuing the letter....
friends of mine here in Tring who have driven miles and miles in search of ROSIE, but have walked even longer miles……. And have been out there in the woods and fields, …. and the endless mud, for hours and hours on end! They were there whenever I needed them, covered squares and squares of the woodland systematically, and gave me such great mental and emotional support. Yes, you two are truly great!!

On the whole I have experienced such kindness and help from so so many different corners,
and I have learned that there are A LOT of people out there ready to help, when asked, or even when not asked.
What a great world we live in !!!!!! ………. Is what I have realised at a moment of actual distraught!
So this is another thank you to you all, to have helped me realise:
There is a lot of good out there in this world,
we just need to learn to see it, and to give it some space in our lives, and to let it in !
(That is one of the experiences I am taking with me out of this.)

Well people, we can all relax now that ROSIE IS BACK !!!!, at least when regarding this aspect in our lives…..
(I will certainly need some rest and sleeeeeeeeeeeeep and good food !!!!! after these past three days! – And so will ROSIE !!!)

All my very very best wishes to you all,
And please take as much care of yourselves as you have expressed for ROSIE - and for me- in these last few days,

…….. and there she is, right this moment, looking round the corner, saying

‘YES, THANK THEM FROM ME, TOO !!!!!’

I could not have found a happier ending for this……..

ROSIE IS BACK SAFELY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, all you lovely, helpful, supportive, concerned and amazing people out there,
who were involved in the search for ROSIE !!!!!!

YES, WE GOT HER BACK THIS MORNING !!!!!

A guy on his way to work found ROSIE running down a country road. Eventually he was able to overtake her and then stop and attract her with his sausage roll and home baked cheese sticks …….. to be allowed to touch her and hold on to her. She was apparently soaking wet.
He got her in the car and as soon as he’d got to work he rang ROSIE’s owner to let her know.
His colleagues had somehow suggested to him, why not keep such a lovely dog, to which he replied: ‘I can tell someone is crying out for her, so she needs to get back there as quick as possible!’
Yes, and we were!!.......... And I had to hug him three times, ……… that is how great my relief was….. ( and I am not a ‘stranger-hugging person’ at all !!!)
So thank you thank you thank you, for your heart of gold !!!!
A heart for the stray dog, and a heart for the owners!

Anyway, I am writing this letter to express my

BIGGEST EVER THANK YOU TO YOU ALL !!!!!!!!!!!

For all your concern, help and support.
I have been receiving hundreds of calls and texts, so supportive and helpful…… and most important of all
Very Kind Hearted!
I cannot thank you all individually, that would take daaaaaaaays,
And to be honest, I am about as exhausted as ROSIE is after these past three days!

I took her to the vets straight after picking her up this morning, to have her checked. No injuries, no temperature, nothing abnormal physically, after three days and nights out there, she is just very very hungry and E X H A U S T E D !!

I would like to take this opportuinity to express my special thank yous to some of you, though.
First of all I want to thank the people from DOG LOST. They stepped in in the loveliest way I could ever have asked for, just kind and helpful, put the posters together and set up important links and gave me helpful advice. And they contacted me at exactly the right moment. All along at least one of them stayed in touch with me, they were there for me whenever I had a question. And most of all never stopped encouraging me, giving me all the mental and emotional support I needed so badly at moments.
Then there were the volunteers from Beardie Rescue, some of them travelled quite some distance to go for very long walks in designated areas to search for ROSIE, keeping in touch and being absolutely lovely!
And I also had some really helpful advice from Beardie Rescue, and through that learnt some things that had never crossed my mind before! Really good and interesting things, that have made me think along new and different lines when it comes to dog psychology, and I am determined to read up on that a bit in the near future. So, thank you for that!
We never stop learning, do we…… !?
And another VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU goes to two friends of mine here in Tring who have driven miles and miles in search of ROSIE, but have walked even longer miles……. And have been out there in the woods and fields, …. and the endless mud, for hours and hours on end! They were there whenever I nee

Message from owner on Rosie’s Page:

Cecilia has just been phoned up by someone who has found her in good condition, we think it is on of the many great people we talked to in the woods Sunday, no further details at present, pick up will be arranged as soon as possible, we will update and send pictures when we know more. Can I please also say that thanks is too little a word to use for all the support and time you have used to getting her back. It is cases like this that restores belief in us as humans. Please spread the word. With lots of love from Cecilia and Jan

pixies peeps
there are other groups which have pictures of the actual dog on so maybe the doglost team can ask the owner to provide these for this link as they are dealing with the owner .

Just spoke to owner - she is out now in the area Rosie went missing as has possible positive sighting. Fingers crossed everyone. Rosie is microchipped. Family in Aylesbury / Tring contacted me about this girl as they've been keeping an eye out for her. Let's hope for good news x

We’ve now been in touch with Owner who has had to go back home to Manchester. She’s absolutely desperate to have her girl home and is very grateful to everyone helping over the last few days.

Please keep looking everyone!! We need to get this beauty safe and backvwhere she belongs.

We are the DogLost Team working to find Rosie, could ALL sightings be phoned through to the two numbers above. We have people on the ground and have our messenger group going with instant updates.

If anyone is able to physically help or if Shirley would like to be added to our team, please let me know. It is too confusing having three points of contact and may lead to us missing an opportunity to get this beautiful girl to safety.

Thank you
pixies peeps

There are some boarding Kennels down there just off the A41 on Icknield Way before you get to big industrial estate she might want to make it known that Rosie is lost in area. Just hope she stays away from the A41 busy busy dark road! She might also mention up at Aston Clinton Kennels and Vet Practice on 01296 630326 just in case she is handed into them. Just thinking if she is chipped to Manchester and nobody at home!!
