- Welcome home Mistie, and a big thank you to the Fire Service, our unsung heroes, and your kennel mate, without whom this reunion may not have happened. Any one else walking this route, would be advised to keep your dogs on leads. Stay safe now Mistie. xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Another absolutely amazing rescue !!! I was really concerned she may have fallen somewhere, and as previously mentioned by Jumanji, it is so important to re-trace the area over and over. What a lucky lucky lady, and thank you so much for your bravery, Mr fireman. Welcome home Mistie xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Oh the poor little darling! She must have been terrified to find herself suddenly alone and trapped. Thank goodness her owners took their other dog with them to look for her or she may never have been found. Thank goodness for the fire brigade who were caring enough to help in such a precarious place. I have just been hearing how firemen get attacked while doing their duty and am disgusted by the low lifes who do such things. WELL DONE THE FIRE SERVICE!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- This is such FANTASTIC news !!!!! So pleased for Mistie and her owners. We also had Guiness reunited this weekend after falling down a shaft on farmland. it shows the importance of walking back over an area a dog does missing from ! Welcome home dear Mistie and stay safe from now on xxxx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Mistie is home and WHAT a reunion. The poor little mite had fallen down a 20ft crevice on top of the Bwlch as soon as she went missing. She managed to crawl her way onto a ledge about six feet from ground level and, when owners were out looking for her yesterday, her kennelmate ran over to where she was. owners shone a torch in and there she was, clinging on for dear life. fire service were called and owners had an agonising wait, watching as Mistie gripped on, until the heroes arrived. one plucky fireman was lowered into the crevice head-first by his ankles where he grabbed Mistie! Rhondda Leader will be contacted to do a follow up reunion on this one as a warning to others who walk their dogs on the bwlch. will also be investigating possibility of warning signs to walkers as there are none at the moment. lucky girl Mistie - welcome home!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Any news on this lovely girl? I just can't bear the thought of her being lost up in the mountains on her own. Have the owners thought of returning to the area she went missing from incase she's made her way back to where she last saw them? Perhaps the old disposable barbecue and sausages trick might lure her in. Really hope she's found soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
