If this bloke lives opposite you, I'm pretty sure he knew exactly whose dogs they were - probably just seeing how long he could get away with not giving them back! Who needs neighbours like him? Great that little SAM is now back safe with you and ALFRED, welcome home boy(s) xxx

Please do speak to the Police about the Coursing. Now they can't have Alfred they will just go and steal another dog to course with. Only with publicity and a few prosecutions will dog fighting, illegal coursine and dog theft be stamped out. Please, please report this matter to an Ispector rank at your local Police Station and get a crime number.

SAMS HOME!!!!Heres the tail i got,a bloke had seen our ad in the local shop window,he lives across the road from us.Right Fri morning he picked Alfred and Sam up from the field next to ours,Took them both to his house then spent the next 3 days coursing Alfred!!!!,he put Alfred into one of his kennels on sun eve to find he had escaped.Thats when he ended up in spennymoor police kennels then escaped from there and was picked up by dog warden and returned to us.The bloke mentioned returned Sam to us just now,and offered a large amount of money for Alfred.I just cannot believe there are people like that out there!!!!THANK-YOU ALL OF YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!

There's a dog going for rehoming on www.rochdale-dog-rescue.com under 'urgent dogs', then scroll down to bottom for dogs being moved to rescue centres. They have him down as 2 yrs but don't mentiion tail. Worth a look xx
