Could I ask a question to head office please, just wondering why this lad is on the reunited list, as it would seem owner not found? Yes he could have been dumped as unwell by his owner, sadly this happens, or he could be a lost/stolen from sometime ago has his chipped removed and an owner still searching. Should he be on the found list? Not a complaint just wondering. Run free in the sunshine pain free lad 😢

An update from Seadown vets.................UPDATE ON THE STRAY SPRINGER SPANIEL - we were brought a stray Springer spaniel by a member of the public last night who had found it in a bog near Minstead, presumably dumped, with no microchip and a huge mass around his rear end. We cleaned him and made him comfortable over night before further veterinary assessment and discussion with the dog warden this morning. Due to his age, weakness, and the severity of this inoperable mass, it was felt that it was kinder to euthanise him on welfare grounds. There has been massive interest on social media, and offers of help both with rehoming and financially which is hugely appreciated, but I am afraid that in this instance any further treatment was not in his best interest which has to be our priority.

I know this is a different area but stranger things have happened - could this be SKUD Ref 124893 - Skud also had a lump on his back
Hope this poor dog hasn't been dumped & an owner comes forward
