What a lucky girl well done the police for alerting the Pet Ambulance and the team. I'm sure LOKI will be on the road to recovery soon lots of TLC. and I hope a tag and a chip.

So glad to hear LOKI is home. We received a call from Merseyside Police in the early hours of the tenth to an injured dog in the grounds of a hotel in Sefton park. One of our veterinary nurses attended in our emergency ambulance gave first aid and took LOKI to a local vets. Our nurse said even in her injured state LOKI was very trusting and even gave a wag of her tail when our nurse approached as she was curled up in the hotel doorway. I have spoken to Rachael our nurse and she is overjoyed LOKI is home as she had been thinking about her all day after her shift. WELCOME HOME LOKI

Loki had an operation on her foot yesterday and has unfortunately had to have one toe amputated, but she seems bright and 'waggy' nonetheless. Thank you very much everyone for all your help and support. Rest assured, she will be chipped asap!!! Thanks, Loki's owners - Emma & David

Loki has been found. Owners would like to thank everyone for their help. They rang around vets and found one which had their dog in for treatment. Someone had found the dog and taken her to the vets as she had cut her leg.

The dogs taken to Speke Police Station last night were a Chow and a Springer Spaniel. The Chow has been reclaimed and the Springer has gone to Halewood RSPCA. Jan x

Local Police tel: 0151-709-6010. Speke, Walton Lane, Kirkby and Southport Police Stations have kennels. Rang central number and have tried to get through to Speke, no answer, Central switchboard said Speke had two dogs taken there last night but did not have details. These dogs will be taken to Halewood RSPCA if not claimed. Jan x

Just spoken to Loki's owner, they live in Wales and were visiting friends in Liverpool when Loki went missing. They are going the the area today to poster around Sefton park. Owner said they have registered, I've asked if they could leave an update later. Good luck and hope Loki is found soon. Jan x
