Still being sighted in and around the Stoggy lane area, Compass drive, Westfield, Moorland Road and George Lane areas. Please keep looking for Freddie and checking your gardens and sheds. If you put food out for feral cats or wildlife and you think it is being eaten quicker than usual let us know so we can put a camera on the food in case it is Freddie.

Post copied from Freddie's Facebook group, can anyone help please?

WE NEED YOUR HELP
In the last few weeks a gentleman walking 2 Staffies made a comment to Helen the Dogfather’s wife that he had seen Freddie several times in an area that he regularly walks his dogs we would like to speak to this gentleman urgently to obtain more details of these sightings. If the gentleman could contact us on 07886622380 or 07773128349 we would be very grateful.

There have been more frequent sightings of late and in a more localised area therefore we have put new strategies in place for little Freddie to learn his movements so that we can move forward with a single food station for him.

I've been out quietly walking some new possible places he could be in woods near to a previous sighting and postered a bit further out. Spoke to a couple of people who assumed he was found by now so posts have been refreshed on Facebook to make people aware he's still missing. Still emphasizing not to chase or call him and to just call the owners.

Thanks for the update Sarahlu. This little one is giving everyone the run-around but with the weather getting colder we are all hoping he will be found soon.

The area of all the sightings has now been saturated with posters. People have been allocated places to sit quietly in cars looking in all prominent areas. Flyers are being sorted for a big push forward with delivering to the houses in the area asking to look in sheds etc but not chase or approach. Maps have been updated with all postered areas and sightings. Night vision equipment used last night and I've had response from a shout out for night vision equipment too which I'm waiting for a reply on. Owners and other key people in contact with me so i'll keep updating.Last edited: 2018-02-21 10:22:49 by Snoopy

Freddie is still missing sadly. I have printed 100 flyers today and handed out to parents at Glen Park school also Buddiies pre school. Families live mainly in the local area of latest sightings ,so they are now on alert to keep a keen look out for Freddie around their gardens and properties etc. I have made it Very clear not to call or chase him on any account but to monitor his movements and ring numbers asap on the poster. Have also suggested that people put the contact numbers in their phones so if they do come across Freddie they can ring immediately. I have passed a message to the core searchers to hand out flyers also att Chaddlewood school and Yealmstone park primary school. Come on Freddie ...It's home time now little boy xx

Freddie is still missing sadly...no sightings for over 24hrs . A mammoth effort to poster further around the area is taking place now. Local, businesses have kindly supplied us with posters . If anyone can help with postering then they are being asked to register online and to follow all advice from the owner . If anyone can help please follow the link . I have added to local groups as well. https://www.facebook.com/aaron.wilkinson.3950/posts/2116504721913032Last edited: 2018-02-17 12:18:59 by Newton Viena

***UPDATE***
Although it’s 12 hours old, we have had information that he was at an elderly gentleman’s door at approx. 2000 last night in the WESTFIELD Area.

We again thank you for all your help.

If you are out looking Please DO NOT do any of the following:
Go out with your dog, this will frighten him even more
Call his name, he is unlikely to come to you
Chase him. He will run away as fast as he can.

Instead if you spot him, call one of the provided numbers ASAP
Sit or lie down and let him come to you, if you have treats, try and coax him towards you gently until he is comfortable.
Again, all the help is greatly appreciated

Calumnmcc. Thank you ,posters being sent down to that area now.

Newton,
He was seen around Hemerdon Heights Road near the T-junction by a grassy area. He seems to be concentrating in that area close to where he went missing
Newton Viena
Hi Calumnmcc can you say roughly whereabouts in Hemerdon Heights Freddie was last seen ? I'm currently doing more posters and would be handy to know exactly where to target. If you can say here will try and get posters to the area asap

***UPDATE***
Freddie is currently remaining in the area he went missing. People have spotted him in Hemerdon Heights, Stoggy Lane and Ridge Park Road, which are all within the area. Again thank you so much for all your help.

Sorry to see that FREDDIE is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (125492)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
