Wow... We both want to say thank you, and how grateful we are for the wonderful response we have had. Equally, we want to add what an amazing site this is, and, when sometimes it can be hard to have faith in human nature it is great to know that there are people like all of you out there. Jayne and the team are brilliant - professional, understanding and kind, and I hope that we can support dog lost in whatever capacity in the future. Kindest regards, Serena, Jon ( and of course... RIZZO! )Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hi boxacrazy. thanks for the tips. Typically my printer ran out of ink yesterday so i have only managed to poster the footpaths near our house and where he went missing. i have a list of places to go today. i have spoken to someone who works at toad hall and told them to keep an eye out, i will posters down there later today. i will poster all round swiss farm, which is where there was a possible sighting. i will go and speak to the person who breeds frenchies in WHS. thanks so much for taking the time to write. Oh and there's a Thames Water treatment plant right next door to the caravan park which is closest to the Toad Hall Garden Centre. So not sure if they have staff working in there all the time? Have you contacted the Henley Standard? They will run stories of lost pets. http://www.henleystandard.co.uk/ Radio 210 FM are one of the local radio stations, also might be worth postering in the Henley Hawks rugby club and Phylis Court Club. Not sure if the White Horse Pub is still open? Might be worth postering there too, of course you've proberly done the PetShop in Bell Street?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The local Henley WHSmiths has someone that breeds Frenchies working there. If it's Swiss Farm Caravan Park they do have a club house so might be worth postering in there. The one further up the marlow road is part of the Caravan Club. Again they have an office. Might also be worth postering in Toad Hall Garden Centre - they also have a pets section and are dog friendly & I'll let my OH know as he works at Henley Management College which is further up the road.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry Jon. Smaller posters wont be on until later, or even tomorrow. Have a technical hitch at present. Use the large posters as handouts for the time being. Hopefully will be rectified soon. Hope this is a positive sighting of RizzoLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

thanks everyone for your help and support so far. We miss him so much and hope he returns safely. we will keep you posted as to what we do and if there is any news. Someone thinks he may have been seen at the caravan park in Henley on thames which would make sense because it is just over the hill from where he ran off. They have agreed to us putting posters up around the site tomorrow. thanks Jon Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jon, we will do all we can to help you find Rizzo. spancoluki, thank you for coming forward to help Jon. I'm sure Rizzo has not gone too far, and maybe someone has already taken him in. It is important to contact the police, and all of your local dog wardens over the surrounding districts. Also you must visit your local pounds and rescue centres at least twice a week. Please make sure he has been reported to them, and that all local vets have got a poster. Good Luck, and please keep us posted xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rizzo has run off before and was found asleep in a nearby barn-so at this point we are hoping that is the case-unless someone has already picked him up.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
