  • Other Info Luna went out for her supervised toilet break at home this morning. She's normally very good and wants to come back, but unfortunately she got the scent of something and jumped the fence. We have a lot of land, but it is fenced in. We've searched everywhere for her but so far nothing :(

Sorry for my slow update - Zoe and I have been exchanging messages. Per her update at 10:52, we found Luna!

She was not far from the area we were searching based up on the last sighting of her.

Luna had checked into a friendly farmer's barn for the night and had herself a bit of a lie in.

Home now - no sign of injury or stress, just a bit tired!

Thanks to Zoe and all at Doglost for their help, advice and everything else they do to help people find their lost dogs!

Luna has been found in a barn on a neighbouring farm this morning. So pleased she is home safe :-)

Lunas family have been searching tirelessly for her since she went missing. Unfortunately the weather here yesterday was awful and i after the sighting yesterday afternoon, i suspect she possibly went to ground. I went out at 6.30am this morning before work to the area she was last sighted but saw nothing. The lady who sighted her yesterday in her woods was also going to go out again this morning. Lunas owners are back out again as well with their other dog. I believe that they are going to lay a scent trail. Weather forecast here today looking much better so am hoping that the sun will bring her out of hiding!!

I have been in contact with Lunas owner today via Facebook. There was a sighting of a similar dog in Isenhurst Woods (which is private) at around 3.45 this afternoon. Owner has got permission to walk where the sighting was so I believe he was going out a bit earlier. The lady who sighted her also went out again but didn't see her. She was heading towards Herrings Farm...I need to look at the map to see exactly where this is. Please, if you're out looking, stick to the footpaths as it is only the owner that has permission to search Isenhurst Woods. Hopefully Luna will make her way home tonight.
