In answer to Tracy - Freddie's Mum's question the lads were reluctant to give Paddy up, but they had looked after him well, they had brushed him and he seemed well fed and watered so perhaps their intentions were genuine. Who knows? We're just glad Paddy seems no worse for his adventure.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I saw a dog exactly like this one either yesterday or the day before that. I remember it because we used to have one exactly like it. It was tied to a lampost outside clinton card shop outside, near the jacket potatoe stall where Lush used to bbe, near McDonalds in Derby City Centre. It was Pining and seemed to be a bit distressed. But i thought its owner would be around. If this was the dog someone could of thought it has been abandoned because it did seem upset, and taken it to safety, if it was around this area, there should be alot of CCTV......message from helper-have let her know Paddy is back. Just heard Paddy is safe - our relative's search force came up trumps and spotted him with 2 youths in Derby centre. Don't know the full details at this stage just glad he's ok. THANK YOU to everyone at Doglost and all volunteers who started to look for him and for the helpful posts. It is greatly appreciated. We hope that as new active members in future we may be able to help others get their dogs back.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Not sure if Derby comes under Amber Valley but strays/found dogs often go to Just for Dogs 01335 361363 Also if injured may go to Scarsdale Veterinary Group 01332 345191 Derby a far way from me but obviously will keep a look out. Will try and get printer working to poster in local shop. Hope he is found soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The wonderful people at Doglost are having system problems today so please watch out for Paddy's photo going on as soon as they have things fixed. Working in Switzerland so feel a bit helpless from here (Paddy was being looked after by a family member in Derby) so any help anyone can give with posters etc will be greatly appreciated. DESCRIPTION - Paddy is in need of a haircut right now so is looking decidedly shaggy (well it is Winter). He has unusually large ears for a Westie and unlike many Westies he has no skirt.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
