- Fantastic news. So happy for owner. Charlie Whiskers has most probably been fed by someone else. this is such a common problem. Maybe the feeder/s have moved away, or on holiday, and he has come home for food. But wherever he has been I would keep hum in for at least a week or ten days, or he may go awol again. Stay close now Charlie Whiskers:-)xxx

- 3 weeks and still no sign - I've walked the fields in the snow- nothing
Am still putting food and smells outside
Please repost so all know he's still missing - 2018-02-28 19:43 Unknown
- Try walking around your area, using the same deodorant that you use on a day to day basis, as he will recognize the scent. Someone tried this, and it worked. Of course you would have checked all outbuildinmgs ar the time he went missing? ALWASYS take SECOND LOOK, as some cats will hide in or behind objects within. Contact ypur local radio. Quite a nhigh percentage of lost cats have "Hitched lifts" Could someone be feeding him thinking he is a stray? Hope he is found soonLast edited: 2018-02-28 19:48:37

- He's still missing all- have tried messaging other farms, posters on my track, all the food tricks, hoover bags, scents, calling, even lots of roast chicken- have also contacted rspca and cats protection and search sites. Am getting really disheartened- no sightings- bad news especially as its -6 degrees up here on the mountain tonight

- Hi, yes, many cats that go missing have got into a delivery van or car and hitched a lift to their next port of call. Was there a delivery van around that day? Ask neighbours. Then call the delivery company and ask where the vehicle went next. Most vans use gps now and can say exactly where they went that day. A local cat got into a van and jumped out at a care home a couple of miles away after medications were delivered there. A friend noticed a poster on their gates and told the cat's owners. He had been regularly fed by the care home people and they were actively looking for his family. Really hope your cat comes home soon, thinking of you

- Thanks-done all that already every day, plus setting humane trap- covering all angles now is nearly 2 weeks with no sightings at alll
I take in rescues so disappeance of my cats is very odd - 2018-02-20 20:59 Unknown
- As he could till be in the area, I would still put scented items in the garden. It does happen, and has, Ask frineds, and neighbours to share as well as DL, Also consider posting an ad in a National newspaper in case he has inadvertnerly "Hitched a lift" Paws xd.
