NWaring.....yes this Otter is White and she took a photo which I do have. and definitely not Jessie, but sadly an Otter..but thank you for making owner aware x
Nwaring
I'm afraid I wouldn't know an alder bush if i saw one, but I would know an otter. Assuming it was the left hand verge as you drive towards Brampton, it sounds about right. I do think it's worth a second look though. I'm sorry if I'm coming across as awkward, that's not my intention, but the animal I'm referring to is white (although obviously the fur is slightly dirty, it's definitely not brown).
Doglover
The lady that went to look here is what she said...he is 100 metres pastbthe Brampton Mill turning under an Alder Bush on B1514...

NWaring is this where you saw whatbyou thought was a dog please x
Nwaring
Hi,
I'm worried that I didn't describe the location well enough, as the animal I've seen is definitely not an otter. It is white, with longer legs and a much shorter tail. It's 20-30m past the central reservation just ayer the Brampton Mill turnoff, as you travel from Huntingdon, on the left hand verge underneath an overhanging branch. i am more than happy to make myself available to show someone if needs be.

Heartbreaking post from Jessie's owner,I only endured this torture for three days...whoever found Jessie please return her and get your own dog, there are plenty in rescue looking for a loving home.
Doglover
Nearing....thank you..,we have had this sighting checked out and it is not Jessie...it was an Otter....but thank you for thinking of her x
Doglover
Nwaring.....thank you I have passed this information onto owner, to check. xx
Nwaring
Hi,
I've just joined here so that I can let you know about a dead animal I saw at the side of the road. I'm not even sure it was a dog, as it was facing away from the road and was in the undergrowth in a 50mph area, so I couldn't get out to check, but I saw it and thought of Jessie from the posters I've seen around town. It was a dirty white colour, and I'm 80% sure it was a dog. I'm sorry I can't be more certain.
It was on the verge of the road from Huntingdon to Brampton, on the left hand side as you're going in to Brampton. It's in the undergrowth possibly 20m or so after the turnoff for Brampton Mill, before it turns in to a 40mph limit.
I'm hoping that this isn't your dog and she can still be found safe and well, but on the off chance that it is her, I thought you'd want to know where she and is and what happened to her.

From Jessie's owner.......Please read thoroughly and share this post. This is least I can do for my beloved Jessie, now that she’s been lost for over a month. Seeing what great dog she is, I quite often feared her senility years and I was terrified of seeing her gone someday. Me and my husband were not ready to lose her out of sudden in such horrible way, and we have never felt such longing and sadness. Thinking about her is the first thing I do after opening my eyes in the morning and last thing before I fall asleep – I often think I heard her barking in the middle of the night and wake full of fear and hope. Worst part is not knowing what happened to her – if only we could hug her for the last time to let her know how we love her, that we wanted to come back for her from our short trip and we didn’t want to leave her. All we want is to know what happened to her and if she is safe. We cannot give up on her and we don’t want to, because we will never forget her. That’s why if you know anything about her, if you’ve seen her or your neighbor became an owner of Bichon recently, please call me, I’ll be forever thankful for it. If you have found her and decided to keep her – please don’t do it. Return her to us, as you’ll never be able to love her as much as people who raised her from a pup.

From Jessie's facebook group....
Can all people living around Lidl/St Peters Road/Stukeley Meadows/Ermine St stay vigilant for a lost white bichon frise, Jessie, currently missing.
Doglover
I have rang Highways England and no dogs have been collected from the A14...This morning i rang Network Rail to check if any dogs found on the tracks near Huntingdon station and Stukeley Meadows which was last sighting. The records on that lady’s computer showed none but she needed to check if any updates need to be made...She has taken all my phone numbers and will get back to me if there is an update...I also have a reference number as well
